| This is a stupid question about Game Cube cases |

| Rx_79:
I never owned a Game Cube back in the day, and have recently been picking up a few titles. Like Mario Sunshine, Pikmin and Wind Waker. However I noticed that all of the cases, have a strange notch on the bottom right side. Are these cases missing a plastic latch or something. At first I thought I had a rental case and this was some type of anti -thief device. But every game I get has this. So what is it for? |

I think that's a security thingie. |

It's just the way the cases were molded; all Gamecube game cases have that. If they don't then someone swapped the cases. |
| LordXaero:
The cases were designed for a lock that would slide into the bottom right of the case, which would lock in place, using a magnet feature. The only way (without breaking it of course) to open it, would be by placing the case on a magnet "key", thus causing the lock to slide out. I know this because I worked at Blockbuster for a year, and their DVD cases were the same design. Guess Nintendo was being generous with the design so companies wouldn't have to order cases. |

Does anyone know where to order gamecube styled cases? I don't care if they are third party cheap plastic crap. |
