I think there was a topic like this at one point, but I can't find it. So I'm guessing a lot of us collect other things besides video games and related things. Post them here!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I may have mentioned before that I am a Star Wars fan.  ;) (if the avatar wasn't obvious). I have a pretty large modern figure collection. Modern, by the way, has different meanings to different people, but generally it means figures from 1995 to now. I got some here and there ever since the Power of the Force 2 line, but I really started collecting them starting around 2000 when Episode I figures were on clearance and Power of the Jedi was the new line. I do also have some vintage figures, which I'll post another time.

I collect loose figures from all movies and Expanded Universe sources. My general rule of thumb is I'm looking for the best version of each character's certain appearance (ex.: best version of Luke Skywalker in Snowspeeder Gear). So I don't collect all the different iterations of the same figure, with the one exception being that I collect all figures of Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine (there aren't many).

I decided to take pictures of my collection to catalog what I have and what I plan to upgrade for my own purposes, but I thought I'd share them here. So I'll start with my collection of modern Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back figures, since that movie is most people's favorite. I store a lot of the accessories elsewhere and need to sort them someday. In all categories I'm missing some figures that I'll eventually track down, or Hasbro hasn't made yet. Also, many Droids and Stormtroopers are grouped together separately.

Battle of Hoth

Dagobah
L to R: Luke (Dagobah Landing), Yoda, Obi-Wan (Spirit), Luke (Training), Darth Vader (Vision)

Bounty Hunters and Imperials
L to R: Boba Fett, Bossk, IG-88, Zuckuss, 4-LOM, Dengar, General Veers, Captain Needa, AT-AT Commander, Emperor Palpatine (original actor)

Cloud City
L to R: Luke (Bespin Fatigues), Lando Calrissian, Leia (Bespin Gown), C-3PO, Ugnaughts, Lobot, Cloud Car Pilot, Bespin Guards, Willrow Hood, R-3PO

Final Scene
L to R: Luke (Medical Frigate), Leia (Medical Frigate), Lando (Millennium Falcon)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a collection I'll call "Stormtroopers & Friends". Basically any figure that is related to a Stormtrooper.

L to R: Stormtrooper, Sandtrooper Sergeant, Spacetrooper, TIE Fighter Pilot, Imperial Gunner, Snowtrooper, AT-AT Driver, Scout Trooper

L to R: Shadowtrooper, Stormtrooper Commander (The Force Unleashed), Incinerator Trooper (The Force Unleashed), Shadow Stormtrooper (The Force Unleashed), Shadow Stormtrooper (phasing), Blackhole Trooper

L to R: Jump Trooper, Jump Trooper (with Jetpack), EVO Trooper, EVO Trooper (camo)

L to R: Space Trooper, Space Trooper (larger), Dark Trooper Phases I-III

L to R: Hoth Scout Trooper, Kashyyyk Trooper (made incorrectly, but I keep it as a camo Scout), Imperial Engineer (Battlefront II), Special Forces Storm Commando, Storm Commando, General Weir

I collect Beatles Memorabilia and Vinyl. Here is a few pics of some of my stuff.
Beatles shelf. Yellow Submarine figures, missing series 1 John with the Nowhere Man, George with the Submarine and the Glove Paul came with, I have the Paul that came with Captain Fred. I open my figures, I hate having them in boxes, unless they are rare, I have a unopened Sgt. John because I already have him out of the box and I got that in a lot. There is also John Lennon ice cream, the contaner is empty. I also got a Sgt Pepper blanket and coat somewhere else.

Here is some of my vinyl I got for free from someone. Many good albums, including Japanese Zeppelin albums.

One of my friends' dad has those Yellow Submarine figures! I used to see them whenever I went over there before he moved out. They also had a Sgt. Pepper's blanket/rug.

Incidentally, I saw these at Target recently:

All of my other collections of crap are in boxes or bins.  Music is on its way to the basement, so it's in random boxes, some upstairs, some in basement.  Action figures are sort of all over the place in boxes, out on display, who knows where.  And LEGOs live in big-ass Rubbermaid bins, which aren't too exciting to look at.

I dont collect much anything else, everything I have in the past I have since gotten rid of or became obsolete in the sense of cd's etc. I still have a ton of MTG cards somewhere and I have been hesitant to get back into it, another expensive hobby and no time to play lol.
