Ok, the topic may be a bit more exciting that what is actually going on, but needless to say after reading this forum it's obvious the guy got his profit machine banned.

You be the judge

The messed up part is that he's not even confused as to why or in disagreement with their reasons.  Waste of a thread.

Something nearly identical happened to another user over there like 7-8 months ago. Only difference was that he was all up in arms about it.

On a business standpoint, Amazon probably should have given a warning, canceled the duplicates of the games he was buying, and band if he ever did it again.

But on a practical standpoint, screw this guy. Why does he even need multiple copies of a game? I feel sorry for his family he screwed over. I wonder if they could ever re-register to Amazon.
It pisses me off when I cant find something, such as issue 285 of Nintendo Power and then I see THIS and THIS on eBay. I remember a lot of that going on with the Wii when it was first released and in short supply.

I see Amazons point but I do this a lot also.  Not in huge bulk but ill re buy something i have just to resell for a profit.  I honestly dont think its such a bug deal.  Unless you go all crazy like the NI NU Kuni guy.  Not sure on spelling sorry.

I've bought games on Amazon for the intention of re-selling for profit.

Though that only accounts for maybe 2% of my total transactions. People that buy EVERY copy of something just to re-sell it at a higher price are definitely despicable.

I think it is just crappy to buy a extra copy of a new game in short supply just to resell it. It's a real slap in the face to anyone who just wants to play the game that you force them to pay extra. Now if you find a copy of Mario Kart 64 at a tag sale for $2 and sell it for $30, that's ok, but to walk into a store and buy 20 copies of the hottest new game and go home and mark them up $30 is just shitty.

But with buying things on Amazon and reselling them, how do you do that without gouging the price? Things over there tend to be market value, with the occasional odd one out. With that said, I remember someone on here ranting on a copy of Zelda Collection for GC he sold. He marked it down to be nice, so someone can enjoy it, and got pissed when he saw the same copy resold for more.

Also what happened with NI NU Kun?

I think more so what this persons issues were that they were reselliing to a more extreme extent. Its one thing to buy a copy of something and resell it but I would imagine they are ordering a few (assuming no limit) for multiple systems . Then, if there is a limit of 1 per, they use all 3 accounts to get more. It doesnt take an algorithm to see that 3 of the same item are going to same place and see that it happens for most of the rare items.

Also, I would be willing to bet that they put it a bunch of preorders when something goes live and closer to release day see that its not hyped up on ebay or sold out and cancels them all.

Gr that really ticks me off so much >:l I don't know if re-sellers was the cause of this or not but...
I had ordered the issue from the website (since it said that it still had stock), but then much later I asked when it was going to arrive, and they just say that they were out of stock and they would send a cheque in the mail. I would be less mad if they just refunded me via paypal or something, but I haven't gotten the cheque in the mail yet so gr >:(

Anyways OT, really glad the guy got banned. I really don't like resellers ._. (and I mean, what else would he be doing with a bunch of copies of a game?)
