You really should play "A Link to the Past" and "Ocarina of Time". Both were hailed as among the best games for their respective systems.

I have played a little bit of Ocarina Of Time. Only about two hours worth, so definately not enough to really unearth the story and all. Perhaps I shall try it and A Link To The Past sometime.

@Quazimoto: when hdloader froze up i had to use someone else's save to continue with god of war. he'd been playing on a harder difficulty, i couldn't change it back, and i actually ended up appreciating it in a whole new way after that. the series as a whole is still kind of played out though.

As a big game fan, I must say that I'm a wee little bit ashamed to say this, but... I usually play games on the easiest difficulty setting whenever possible. At least at first. There's just so many games I want to play and not enough time to enjoy them all, so I try to maximize my ability to play a variety of games by doing so on easier difficulty settings (well, that and I kinda suck at a lot of games - lol). I think the God Of War thing was mostly due to it being so over-hyped when I finally did play it (which was about a year ago), particularly my from my Brother who calls it one of his all-time favorites. It's certainly not a bad game. Just not something I was able to get into much.

Well, that settles it then. Two people recommending I play it means I've got to do so sometime. Now, all I need is a Super Nintendo (had to sell mine recently) and a copy of the game. Might be a bit of a wait for that unless I find a killer deal somewhere. My next major purchase is gonna be one of Wiggy's backlit GameBoy Advances.
