You need a direct link to the image. The link you submitted is based on you being logged in I'd imagine.

I saw it, and it looks pretty sweet if you ask me.

So, it looks good but... Characters or elements from the art work can break the 4th wall and lay over text/words but text can't break the 4th wall and disrupt text. That's a no no.

NOTE: The 4th wall is a theater or film term that refers to an imaginary or invisible boundary between an audience and stage.

Yeah, that was one of my problems with it.

It seems you've had problems with maintaining the image size and not cropping the logo. However, there's a fix. This is my recommendation. You don't need to have items broken up into layers to make adjustments.

First select your POLYGONAL LASSO and outline the logo. Make sure BLACK is selected as the background color.

Second, select FREE TRANSFORM and re-size the logo.

Now, there will be a little bit of clean up but it should be pretty easy. You should now be able to position the art work without the logo spilling outside the border.

Thanks. That was the biggest problem I was running into. I didn't know what to do with the logo. I knew it covered up WAY to much of the 'Genesis' text. I will make a new version and upload it here pretty soon.

OK. Second version. I made the logo on the front smaller and I overlapped the screenshots and word bubbles on the back over the red stripes. What do you think?

It looks 100 times better. My only other suggestion would be to remove the Old school Genesis logo on the back. The red spine is the re-branding of the Genesis and that old school logo was no longer used. I realize that Old School Logo appears on the front too. It is a difficult one to remove.

Yeah. I could probably take out the back one, but the front one would be a big challenge. Do you think I should submit it for the site? The whole reason I made this one is because I have this game and the current one sucks ass. I'll be making one for Madden '92 with a red spine and a few other unpopular titles as well.

I would first encourage you to submit your work but It might not be used if the source material wasn't originally scanned at high resolution (300 dpi). However, I should also warn you that the individuals that post cover art only do so on their spare time. Hundreds upon hundreds of covers are submitted and it might very well get over looked. I would just say, keep up the good work. Look at the UNIVERSAL GAME CASE section of the forum and post covers there.

I would recommend posting your GENESIS cover on this thread so people can find it:
