Started Cataloging My Collection...

Superchop:

There was a pretty neat template for Microsoft Access that you could use to catalog your games, and it even allowed you to put in a picture of your liking.  I've tried it out and it seems like it's a nice alternative to excel but since the template is only for Access 2010+ (which I only have on my laptop) I've been procrastinating a bit on it.

MedaForce:

I use a program called 'Delicious Library' its a Mac only program. Big reason I went with it was it was one of the first programs that offered a barcode scanner.

I pretty much keep track of my games so I can have a list on what games I own and which games are complete or are missing boxes/manuals.

So I know exactly what I have. What if my house gets stolen or explodes, what would I tell insurance? I should probably take pictures of everything as well.

It's also nice to have everything organized, I also have my boxes, manuals and what-not written in. I'm a CI collector, and it's nice to know what I need to complete my collection without searching through every case, I only need 1 more Wii manual for Godfather Blackhead Edition to have every game CIB, I'm also very close with all CIB DS games. It helps with me keeping them easily alphabetized, and keep track of the total amount.

This actually makes me seriously consider doing this (on top of good photos of everything).
