Don't feel bad about that...I've read stories about how poorly shipped all of the cases were and I don't think anyone got a perfect case.  I picked up mine in store and it had a few scratches and a ding or 2.  Also a bit surprised that it wasn't shrink wrapped or sealed in any way :/

Also, I was gonna say that I'd be interested in the extra book if you decide to sell but after seeing those prices on eBay I wouldn't be able to afford it :(

Edit- first sentence got cut off

I was excited to order one until I found out that they would not offer shipping to Canada.

I realize we aren't a huge market like the USA, however, there's still money to be made by selling to us and I find it puzzling in this day and age that a new retail product would be offered to USA but not Canada

I would have gladly paid a $10 shipping premium to cover any extra costs.

I decided that I wasn't going to jump through hoops to order from such a short sighted company and I'm glad I didn't because I would have been pissed if my order got cancelled.

I still don't get why they aren't making more.  The things are going on ebay for huge bucks and Namco Bandai is missing out on profit big time.

Their marketing department should be ashamed of themselves for underestimating demand.

They should simply produce more and sell them out again.  At the very least honor the orders they cancelled.  They should also limit it to one per household to put a stop to ebay flipping.

I also don't get how Namco just simply says "it was a glitch in our ordering system".  Sorry but that's not an excuse.  I'd be ending my relationship with Digital River or whatever they are called and either set up my own order fulfillment dept. or outsource it to a competent organization.  The only time you outsource is if someone else can do something better than you.  Looks like they dropped the ball by using Digital River.

It still boggles my mind how video game companies overall are so far behind other industries in terms of decision making, customer service, and quality of operations.

...End Rant  ;D

actually had some stupid luck. wasn't even gonna get one until i heard about this whole debacle, at which point my selfish kid brain took over, prompting me to want what everyone else couldn't get their hands on. so on feb 1, the day of release, i went to pick up ken's rage 2 (wrong releasedate; it's really the 8th) and told them to put me up for the wizard's edition just in case. went back to get a cable today and they offered me the last one. good times, but now i feel kinda bad for everyone who didn't luck out.

Yeah, stupid prices on ebay currently, my German one should be here in next week or so while my French one just update that it will be shipping sooner than originally expected. I still don't know if its worth keeping the French on in attempt to flip, ties up a lot of money.

Just irony that the book only is selling for 150-250 but people overlook the euro editions even tho the books are in English.

I have no data on the Canadian Market for the newer gaming stuff,
but I can say that Canadian orders comprise a significant % of my sales of HuCard Sleeves,
GBA Cardboard Insert Trays, and used retro games & Accessories.

I totally missed out on all of the opportunities to receive any pre-order bonuses for this game,
mainly because I've been too busy working.

I did have a pre-order in at a local Gamestop just for the Game, but they botched that.
They didn't order enough, and never called me when it came in.
I only found out about it's release after someone mentioned it on another thread.
Had to get a refund, and drive halfway across town, to get a copy from a Best Buy.  :-\
