I played through and beat Andross. It does indeed feel different from Star Fox 64; To my understanding, Star Fox 64 was more of a "reboot" than a "remake". In some ways I actually prefer Star Fox SNES a bit more, it feels more "pure". Difficulty can be a bit ridonkulous sometimes though... running into a wall shouldn't wipe out half my health damnit! |

Just going off memory here but isn't SF64 a sequel to SF? I thought the 64 one featured the son of the first Fox Mcloud or something like that. |

Logically speaking, running your spaceship into a wall should prolly kill you instantly. Half your life is something to be thankful for :P |
