Found this at my local store and although I already have a GCN and it's just a cardboard overlay to the platinum box, I thought $30 was a good deal.

I say I have finished NES but I sit on the fence on bonk's adventure seeing as if/when I decide to collect TG16 I rather just get it, and for much cheaper, on it.

well, it only took 2 months (wish I was joking) to get them, but finally my 15 reproduction snes carts from "that site we do not speak of"

grats on the repros. I love king of demons (I have a JP version) great game and wish more people could enjoy it.

It's bothered me for a long time that I didn't have Bonk on the NES. Year after year, I'd hope I'd find it cheap but it keeps going up and up in value. I decided to break down and get it. I believe in the next few years that I'll be at the same level as Flintstones 2 for NES. PLUS, it's a great port. It uses nice big sprites for NES and the audio sounds great compared to a TG16.

I got the last Borderlands Origin Comics in the mail today.  I now have complete sets of standard and Alternate cover Borderlands comics.
 Also got my Game of Thrones BR/DVD/Digital from Amazon today.

I almost refuse to get flintstones, I have most the rare (at least the ones worth having) nes games so I am content. 2 years ago flintstones would run you 150-250 but thanks to the retro collecting crazy and the Gamechasers (love their show but thanks for the inflation) you cant find a copy for less than like 600 these days

Its a meh game and owning it would only increase e-peen. Figured I would just save it as that 1 game I will only get if I get it under some crazy circumstances

Went to a local pawn shop that I usually go to.

Grabbed Metroid Prime Trilogy for $30.

It is kind of funny, I asked how they priced their stuff while I was there because they seem to price older stuff dead on, But PS2, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox they are usually 1/3 the going price.

They told me that for the older stuff they use Ebay prices, But for the the other games they check what EB Games sells it for online  and matches that price.

But anyways Has anyone played the Metroid Prime Trilogy? is it better than the Gambecube versions?

That depends. Metroid Prime Trilogy is missing Special FX from the GameCube.

Wow, I've played through all of them on both the GCN and Wii and never noticed that!  Totally weak.  You'd think those sorts of effects would have been ADDED for the Wii
