I went to a 'rummage sale' this morning at a local church.  Found a copy of Mario Kart 64 priced for $2.00.  Ended up paying $1.00 for it.  Label was in decent shape and after taking a magic eraser to it, looks almost new.

The fact that you haggled a game that was a steal at 2$  to 1$ at a CHURCH sale.... I bow to you sir. lol

Probably not a whole lot of haggling, I do it all the time at garage sales. I see a sticker and say

"would you take $1 for this?"

And then I get it. 8)

Oh, I was just joking about the situation, as 2$ I wouldnt have even bothered to haggle, but I guess I am a baller like that, spending extra washingtons on a whim. That and it was lulz it was a church event, reminds me of those people that make change when they pass out the offering plates etc.

Just to clarify, the event was at a church community center, it was NOT raising money for a charity...the 'vendors' each paid money to get a spot to sell their wares.  Besides that, it is almost reflex to offer a lower amount when I'm at a flea market or garage sale.  I mean, come on, who wants to pay the asking price?  Funny thing is, 99% of the time, they will take the lower offer.  That's the trick with these things, the people desperately want to get rid of this stuff....the rest usually ends up donated to a thrift shop at the end.  Also, to be fair, I would have gladly paid the $2.00.

I completely agree and trust me I understand the must of haggling a price. I was simply joking about the situation as the context was entertaining  ;)

Haha, point taken.  The irony of the situation is not lost on me  :).

Went to a local pawn shop that I usually go to.

Grabbed Metroid Prime Trilogy for $30.

It is kind of funny, I asked how they priced their stuff while I was there because they seem to price older stuff dead on, But PS2, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox they are usually 1/3 the going price.

They told me that for the older stuff they use Ebay prices, But for the the other games they check what EB Games sells it for online  and matches that price.

But anyways Has anyone played the Metroid Prime Trilogy? is it better than the Gambecube versions?

My guess is GRP.

Anyway welcome to the nearly never ending collecting of repros. ;D

GRP , worked out cheaper due to the bundle deals he does

I already have a few repros, these were *hopefully* last on my list for now. Trying to not get all the hacks of games but mostly just games that never were released here in US

Have snes already - star fox 2, secret of mana 2, terranigma, radical dreamers and the firemen
NES - only earthbound and sweet home. Battle Kid if you count that lol

Awesome man!

I picked up a game from OCD a month back.  Super nice quality.  I also recently found out that they use my local game stores to hunt for donors (which means I've gotta keep on my toes).
