^^^ I'm with you, even though it's my most busted looking collection.  I've got jewel case JP games, US tall box games, and a LOT of DVD case games that I cased up since they were loose discs.  The lack of uniformity kills me, but I can't pull those stupid, gigantic cases off the shelf.  Just can't.

My problem is I hate having the mixture. I like the uniformity of having them all in DVD cases. And I get so many loose or in CD jewel case games that it makes sense.

Edit:

Picking up Super Smash Bros, Banjo-Kazooie, Duke Nukem 64 and MK3 for $70 tonight.

Nice pickups nacho though those replacement cases on the Saturn games make me kinda sad.....

Are the inserts cut in those as well?

No I got most of those loose or just the case with the back insert and no manual so I printed those from here and cased them in DVD cases.

Somebody sent you those in blue DVD cases? I didn't think they would look that good on the Saturn games but now I am considering that for when I get  a Saturn collection worth casing!

(Now that's blue for Saturn, Red for Dreamcast, Purple for 3DO????)

No I actually bought those from the link that madrocsz linked to in the January pickups. They were the cheapest I could find at $5.75 for 25 and the only reason I got blue instead of purple is they were out of stock on purple. I think they look pretty good though and the only way I will change is if I get a Sega CD.

If I can find a cyan and a standard blue DVD case color I would just do those for the two.

Where did you find those great games for $6 each, Palmer? I've been trying to find Super Double Dragon, but my local are CraigsList is kaput.

I got them all from a local thrift store.  ;D
:o Wow, I haven't been checking prices of SNES games since I only have 3 and don't plan to collect any in the near future. Just by checking ebay real quick on those titles you have easily 5 or 6 that go for $40 or more. Now my Saturn games don't seem like as good of a deal, although I'm particularly proud of Saturn Bomberman for only $25.  ;D

Ya I'm a big SNES fan and this little lot got me a lot closer to being finished.
All pickups are good as long as your happy with what you bought.
 ;D

What a sweet DVD case color that would be.  Lemme know if you find any.

If I didn't have MMX2 already, I would be SOOOOOOO jelly of you right now.  Now send me that Contra 3 ;D  Don't forget, this is waiting here for you when you dig up something more than a broken TG-16 :P

Aren't the Wii U cases pretty close to cyan? They are definitely lighter blue than the ones I put my Saturn games in.

They're also eco-cases, which means they have holes on both the manual side and the disc side.

I've already converted them to white Wii cases, even though I do like the blue color.

Crap. I have those and thus now I can't use cyan. curses. I could use Blue for Sega CD and Silver for Saturn though (tons of xbox platinum hits cases you can buy that would work)

Been doing quite a bit of trading this week. Also 2 packages came in from the mail today:

From Trades:
Used Phat PS2 system with cords, 1 OEM Black Memory Card and two controllers,
OEM Nintendo Composite Cable
OEM Black Nintendo Gamecube Controller
OEM 1019 Gamecube Memory Card

Purchases:
Yoshi's Island for SNES
Japanese Circle Pad Pro for the 3DS XL.
Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes for Gamecube (pretty good deal)
Resident Evil for Gamecube
2 SNES controllers for $1.00 each

3DS XL is now a BEAST! Feels like a mini WiiU controller

HAD to get this copy of Yoshi's Island off eBay, as they are hard to find with a good clean label

Start buying cheap shit sports games to harvest the cases? That or wait for Seymour to release his reproductions. Man that'll be a sweet day...

Today, I got an NES console that needs cords, one nes controller, and a watermelon funtastic n64 controller for $6 total.

Also traded in some shitty genesis model 2 consoles that needed repair (told them what needed to be done to them) for Foreman for Real CIB for Super Nintendo, NHL Stanley Cup CIB Super Nintendo, and another N64 controller that's grey.

Not too bad.  I also just got this stuff, which might be an early competitor to Megaman X2 find  ;D

Ultimate Frogger Champion homebrew CIB: $10
NES Powerpak with manual: $65
NES Quikshot controller in box: $1
Snowboard Kids 2: $10
Genesis Gunstar Heroes loose: $1.50

This is Chubby; He hates Game Case Sellers who steal our artwork to profit their lazy kingdoms.

But he sure loves his Shaq Fu!
