Oddly, I have my BA in Media Arts. At work, for the most part, I edit videos and audio. You'd think I'd have my own youtube channel/video series by now but...  I've been planning on doing game comparison videos. So, all the copies of Hook are in preparation for a future video project. I'm waiting for some high end cameras to come in and my boss is supposed to make me a nice CG intro.

i heard the ps2 games were awesome so i've bought and played 1-5 & 0 these last few months. it's true, 4&5 especially were totes amazing. 0, sadly, went back to having less story and characters. next up is the psp games, #6 for 360 and assault horizon (i know it's disliked), then i need to try out sturmovik or something, cuz AC can't possibly be the only games with this intense dogfighting.

If you like story, then the JP version of 3 is absolutely THE BESTEST!  They stripped ALL of the story out of the US version unfortunately.  Even in Japanese, you still get a great feel for the story and the characters not to mention some of the best map, mission, and definitely aircraft design!  The system devolved after 3 IMO, which isn't to say that the later games are crap or anything.  4-6 are still a blast

saw someone working on a fan translation of that game just a few months ago, so the project shouldn't be dead yet. will def replay it when that's finished. i hear it's got tons of branches and endings, which is always intriguing.

edit: aw, last updated in 2010, so i guess it really is dead after all

I was just about ready to give up going to local Goodwills 2-3 times a week looking for games then I found these today:



There was actually about 10 more games but they were all $3.99 each, if they were cheaper I would've bought them too.

That's a bummer

I played the snot out of that game when I got it.  I've always been a huge fan of the series and I used to buy a ton of JP games, you know, back when it took a year or two before we'd get them stateside.  I was so bummed when it came out here finally and was devoid of pretty much everything that made the JP version cool.  Lazy bastards.
