Recently at my local thrift store i picked up these cartridge only games:

Super Smash Bros. N64 - $3
Ogre Battle SNES - $2
Earthbound - SNES $2
Battletoads/Double Dragon - NES $2
Super Metroid - SNES $1.50
& Pokemon Trading Card Game - GB $5

I think I got pretty lucky with them. Especially Earthbound which is weird cause i didn't realize how much it was selling for. I just remember walking in there, hoping that I find Earthbound and there it was :)

always wanted to say this but.. "pics or it didnt happen"

That cover has a decent front but that back is....dogshit. I'll wait to see if anyone else has one.

Here's is a cover I made using the front from that cover.

Picked up a copy of TMNT IV: Turtles in Time for the SNES at the local thrift store for $8 today.  Usually I only see sports games if I happen to actually find any cartridge type games.  It was nice to find something I was actually looking for.

If you end up not liking Earthbound (Which is a possibility), at least you'll be able to make a hellish profit off of it. We're talking 1000% or more.

Sheesh, looks like 180-200 is really typical for loose cart when I checked completed listings.  That's just fucking stupid.

Yea, its sad. Its a great game, but $200 is too much to spend on any game.A console, yea...but not one RPG that is actually pretty short and may not appeal to the person, that appeal could delve into hatred when they realize they put down a couple of benjamins to play it.

The collectors market is pretty retarded.

Good pickups palmer

I agree, prices have gotten just about retarded for games lately, I hated myself when I hesitated on most expensive games and ended up paying 2x what they were when I should have got them BUT even since then they have gone up 2x more so it almost makes me feel better about some of the purchases I made. Best example would be Hagane, I paid 60$ then and felt it too much, now try and find it for less than 200
