There are a number of cases where the GH version is preferable. Most have bug fixes, some add features like Resident Evil 2 GH adds in Dual Shock support, and DMC3 adds in the easier mode with loads of other stuff....and Silent Hill 2 adds in features previously exclusive to the Xbox version.

its sad that people don't see that and scream about the Black Label versions being better when in many cases, are wrong.

Well, I have greatest hits versions of all the Spyro PS1 games with printed out "BL" covers. Then again, they're in DVD cases so yeah.

Anyways, in the case of Spyro 1, some of the music tracks for some worlds were altered to be more "original", Spyro 2 doesn't have any changes that I can recall, but Spyro 3 is definitely the biggest offender.

First, there's a cutscene that is supposed to play but for whatever reason doesn't in all BL and PSN copies. There are also some levels where their original musical track won't play, instead you'll hear a re-used song from another level. So, GH version is the definitive version of Spyro 3.

All that in addition to minor bug/glitch/loadtime fixes.

Also, not related to Spyro, but the GH PS2 version of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex has shorter load times than the BL version. So you have at least one PS2 example right there. Not to mention the whole Devil May Cry 3 situation. I believe the GH PS2 version of one of the Budokai games also has some added content, NQS.

Picked up some genesis games at goodwill for $2 a piece.

Aerobiz, dunno what it is so I grabbed it
Taz-Mania
NHL 94 (last year the Rangers won the Cup)

Anyhow, Cover for NHL 94 on the site goes to a box raw scan of MK3 so if anyone has a cover for that, it'd be awesome.

Recently at my local thrift store i picked up these cartridge only games:

Super Smash Bros. N64 - $3
Ogre Battle SNES - $2
Earthbound - SNES $2
Battletoads/Double Dragon - NES $2
Super Metroid - SNES $1.50
& Pokemon Trading Card Game - GB $5

I think I got pretty lucky with them. Especially Earthbound which is weird cause i didn't realize how much it was selling for. I just remember walking in there, hoping that I find Earthbound and there it was :)

Haha please dont. Thanks for helping me get registered.  8) i feel like i've been viewing these forums forever with no way to reply to anything.
It's like teasing a caged animal with a steak.  :o

Anyway crazy story. I go to that thrift store almost every day looking for deals like these. (I'm addicted to shopping for retro video games there.)

& I dont always buy anything. Well the other day I was stopped and harassed by their security. He accused me of stealing and I had to prove to him that I didnt.

Well I was very mad at them but I'm just glad that I don't steal because I love my findings at that store. I have seen almost every console for sell there. Even Slim models.
