I am going for the Saturn Games I want to save on shipping. Both Lunar games, After Burner II and Space Harrier as well as Sakura Wars because it looks interesting as is cheap. Not sure what else is good as I never owned a Saturn.

Edit: Also got Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2). not sure if language barrier will be huge. Also went for both Panzer Dragoon Games.

Language barrier will render that game nearly unplayable. I played through SoM3 back in the day using a GameFAQs walkthrough.  Pretty much saps the fun right out of it, and that's what you'll have to do unless you can read Japanese.

I have played the SNES version so I know the story, but I suppose I should just learn Japanese.

Okay, so if you've been paying to attention to CLub Nintendo, they FINALLY have Paper Mario up for download for a mere 200 coins.

I'm mad because I was waiting for it, but gave up and paid $10 for it... I only had to wait about half a year more, dangit!

I got the clear plastic Playing cards for Platinum Membership this past year. Cards are great. Only downside is that the case is cardboard. Was hoping it was plastic as well.

This is the main reason I am skeptical of getting any Japanese Saturn games, I don't want to skip through a bunch of text that I can't read. Anybody have suggestions on some to get that aren't difficult to understand?

Gamestop never sent me a notice about picking up my pre order of Fire Emblem so I just went in to the store today to ask.  They were saying that they were getting in another shipment around the end of the month :/ He said he could sell me the digital download, but if I wanted that I would've done it already lol.

So I just ended up asking about the pre order bonus and the guy went into a drawer and said he might have some left...he gave me the art book and then after he asked for my info to check to see if I really had a pre order.  After he saw that I did, he reached into a drawer and gave me a copy.  He said it was on reserve for someone but since I had it pre-ordered he ended up selling it to me.  I told him that I was patient and didn't mind waiting till the end of the month since I know I won't be playing the game all that soon but he said well, you did pre order it and it's first come first serve.

So I went home with my new copy and art book lol.

Also put in a pre order for Tales of Xillia while I was there.

There's some really good shooters that were available on Saturn only in Japan.  Thunder Force V (this may have had a release in the U.S. on another console), Soukyugurentai Otokuyo (published by EA), & Salamander Deluxe are a few.  Of course, there's also Radiant Silvergun if you want to pay a LOT of $$$$ for it.

Don't forget other Sega arcade ports that were released only in Japan.  Power Drift is one of my favorites, and the Saturn port is arcade perfect.

Also, you can play Fighting Vipers with the Pepsiman character if you have the Japanese version.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I just got it, I had a few spare coins from my sisters Wii and Xenoblade.
