Beastman1975:
i ended up recaseing all my sega cd games in dvd case for 2 reasons 1: they are shorter ( alot of ready made shelves dont fit the original bulky cases  and 2: dvd cases are less thick so more room on the shelf all together
i have all my original cases in a nice rubbermade bin safly tucked away

And generally white DVD cases are easy to find. And there's only 5-6 Sega CD 32X games total. The tricky part is finding colored cases that support more than 1 disc for those that need it. I've found white 2-disc cases just fine, but for orange and blue I may just put the 2nd discs in CD sleeves and put those in the booklet area.

Check out January 2013 Pickups thread on page 18. madrocsz linked a site he got his from and although they don't have all the colors you are looking for, they are a pretty good price ($5.75 for 25 or $0.23 each)

Thanks. I may get blue cases from there.

For anyone interested in doing something similar to what I'm thinking of doing, here are some results of my search:

Sega CD games -- http://www.meritline.com/dvd-case-single-blue---p-20404.aspx

32X CD games -- http://www.checkoutstore.com/STANDARD-Solid-Orange-Color-Single-DVD-Cases-p/clrcasec-so.htm

Sega Saturn games -- http://genesysdtp.com/1dvddetails.htm
(they also have several multi-disc options in white)
