Man, today's Nintendo Direct almost felt like it was five moths early.

Or about seven months late? All of these titles should have been mentioned at last year's E3 It just feels like 3DS all over again, nothing for about the first year then more games than you can handle.

Hopefully we can get an Ambassador program just like the 3DS, but I doubt it. I feel terrible buying it at launch, I knew I should of canceled my preorder as soon as I found out Pikmin 3 got pushed back. Feels like forever since I actually used my Wii U to play a game. I just want a free Gamecube or GBA game to tide me over until some of these "launch window"  ::) games come out.

And this is why I tol literally "EVERYONE"...... That I wasn't getting a Wii U on release.
Are you kidding? Look at the last couple of consoles they put out, sky high price and there isn't shit to play on them that's good. Plus the ambassador program they did for the 3ds sucked to me. Some free boring ass download games?! Hard copies please! Sheesh give me a break, glad I didn't buy that on release also.

But to games!

Waiting for:

Dead Space 3
Castlevania: LOS 2
Castlevania: MOF
A fable game that isn't gay like the journey....
Pandora's Tower (maybe)
Pokemon Y and X
Bioshock infinite
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Dead Island: Riptide
Animal Crossing 3DS
The Elder Scrolls Online

Bout all that I can think of.

I was looking forward to Dead Space 3 until the demo. It has nothing scary about it anymore and you use guns instead of tools now to fight them. The appeal of the game has just dropped for me.

God, I'm so out of the loop.

When's that next Team ICO game supposed to come out now or has it been cancelled?

No word at all on THE LAST GUARDIAN. Not cancelled according to Sony but not done either.

I will try and keep this to what I actually have pre-ordered for the next few months

DMC (Ordered this through deep discount for 35$, shipped but taking its time)
Ni no Kuni (I have the standard edition, but also ordered the wizard edition which is now a giant clusterfuk)
Tomb Raider - Survival Edition
Bioshock Infinite - Ultimate Songbird edition
Etrian Odyssey 4
Metal Gear Solid Rising Revengence - Limited Edition
Castlevania Mirror of Fate
Shin Megami Soul Hackers
God of War Ascension - Collectors edition
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Fire Emblem Awakening

Games I considered but will maybe get/play later

Aliens Colonial Marines - Have a bad feeling this is  going to be suxxor
Dead Space 3 - As much as I love the DS series, they have strayed too far off what made the original great
Crysis 3 - If I got it would simply because it I wanted to see come cryengine 3 love
South Park Stick of Truth - with THQ being sold out right now, no telling if this will come out as planned

I've been reading about the Wizard's Edition fiasco on gamefaqs, it's a bit of a shame that Namco and Digital whatever are having so much trouble with their orders :\

Kinda glad I didn't bite the bullet and go for that lol or I would've been pretty upset.

As for a lot of these other games, God of War, Dead Space 3, etc etc I always have a hard time paying full price for them because I know that within a few months they'll be down to half price, or at least close to it if not less :\  The only games that I've seen hold their value a lot longer are JRPG's and first party Nintendo titles.

Besides collectors editions which for the most part can barely be found for a decent price after it's initial release, the games tend to dive down in price or they release some sort of "complete" or GOTY edition not long after *looksatbatmanarkhamcity*

I am waiting on two orders through Digital River, one from the Square Enix store half off sale and the Ni No Kuni Wizards Edition through Namco. The Ni No Kuni order I am sure will be canceled and the Square Enix order was placed in early December and might have to be canceled because my credit card expires in February.  Overall thoughh I give Digital River an A+, they have handled the Ni No Kuni orders wonderfully  ::).

Also I would feel too bad about Bam Ham City, the 10/10 complete edition has they ugliest game cover I have seen in a while.

im with you 100% .... but if i don't buy some games with my pay i get angry. Also Gamefly helps a lot with newer stuff.  I find that becoming friends with the Manager and assistant manager of your local Gamestop not only gets you friends (who cant use more of them?!?!) but can also be helpful with the game collecting.

Keep your eyes out for deals too.  Kotaku does a "moneysaver" article once a week.

On a side note that belongs in this thread:

looking forward to Wind Waker HD....no Wii U....but no need yet

Another couple of games I forgot to add in were the Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and I believe eventually 2.5? remakes.

I enjoyed the first, and own pretty much them all except the psp game (just haven't gotten around to playing them) but I wouldn't mind playing the remakes.

Couldn't you give them a call and just give them your new cc number?  I would think that'd be easier then canceling and ordering while potentially losing your place in "line"

And yeah...I love my normal cover and detest that poor excuse for a game cover that was the GOTY edition...but paying full price for the game, then paying for the Harley Quinn DLC (along with Robin dlc) I could've just waited :\  But I guess what really bothered me was that they didn't even wait a year before releasing the GOTY.  It was just a few months after I had spent my money on the normal game...

Yeah, I wrote that completely wrong. I plan on submitting a new card for them to charge, can't miss out on the FF 1 through 4 for PSP/DS as well as Chrono Trigger DS for half off.  ;D Also a plus, my order for Ni No Kuni Wizard Edition went through, now I have to return my order from Gamestop.com, but I think I will keep the Steelbook. :D Thanks to that guy on CAG that posted that backdoor link real early this morning.

I understand what you mean about Batman AC. The current trend of Ultimate/GOTY Editions is getting ridiculous, especially when a game like Dead Island has a GOTY edition. I haven't even played the Robin or Nightwing DLC for it yet so I can't really comment on whether it is really worth it or not. Harley Quinn's DLC looks interesting to me though so I will have to purchase it during the next Steam sale. I hate that I have to enter in serials into GFWL for it to work on Steam though.

I loved the Batman games...but hate the DLC...its just beat up levels. I wanted a DLC that had you exploring more and encountering more villains. The Harley DLC looked like it did that a bit, but forced you to be Robin, and stay in the steamworks/jokers hideout area. You cant run around Arkham City as Robin. That bummed me out.

Aliens Colonial Marines - Have a bad feeling this is  going to be suxxor

Well, Gearbox is making the game with Sega, so that is doublew the awesome in one game. Plus it is supposed to have some awesome Wii U features on it that I cannot wait to dive into.

South Park Stick of Truth - with THQ being sold out right now, no telling if this will come out as planned

Ubisoft bought that game so it will be just fine.
