i wonder if the UGC price increase will close some of the other cover sellers?
I doubt it - their margins are still huge even if the UGC and shipping costs doubled, they'd still be making a decent profit.
I also maintain that i had no problem with them selling covers if there are people stupid enough to pay for them. What i took umbrage with was her constant lying, not removing covers that users asked her to, and immature name calling - and it's for that reason i'm not sorry they've stopped trading. If she had been making her own covers from scratch, with her own templates, i'm sure this thread wouldn't even exist. And if she is indeed going to start her own open community, then great - the more people out there doing this for fun, and the preservation of old media the better as far as i'm concerned. Chances are it would be a better more modern user interface, with bells and whistles, but i doubt very much (judging from some of the work i've seen) it will have the same level of quality, and the sense of community that we (mostly) have here!
