UGC Price Increase

Did everyone see they posted a price increase?  They are now $59 per case of 100.  They also posted on Facebook that FedEx raised their shipping costs.  These are starting to be too expensive. I need another case to finish out what I'm doing, but I might just skip it.

I just got in another 200 UGCs last month, in fact.  Guess I bought at just the right time.  When Seymor's cases get here, I'll probably just switch everything over to his cases and unload my UGCs.  His cases are looking better by the day.  When's that Kickstarter going up, mate?

I just ordered a case this week and got it in yesterday. I payed the $42 and FedEx was actually cheaper. I usually pay $18 S&H but I only paid $13. Things must have gone up in the past few days.

FedEx and USPS just raised their prices on everything for everyone. I don't mind though. At 0.59 a case it is still worth it to me.

That's a pretty significant price hike. I wonder what caused it to spike to suddenly.  I woulda figured it go to 48 or 49.99 or something like that first.

Maybe they realised it's a hot commodity and they're trying to squeeze more money out of it?  I'd have to think it's one of their best selling items due in no small part to us collectors (hell, they've had it as their 'featured product' more than once) so they probably figure they can get away with charging more than they have been.  Especially since right now they're pretty much the only game in town.  What they DON'T know is that we have a secret weapon just ready to emerge.

I had a quote for the old price for two cases from last week. I wasn't sure if I wanted to grab them. I went ahead and paid on it. Hopefully I'll get them at the old price. Still, I'd pay that much for them. At least if these Onion cases never materialize.

Wow, that is just, wow. If they changed the mold & made them fit NES games or something I could understand the change, but a price increase like this out of nowhere?

I just want 100 more for NES games.  That's as far as I plan to go with the UGC's.  Don't really want to wait several months on the Onion cases as much as they sound great.  I got a quote from Mediashelving at the new price.  Their shipping kills me.  Anyone have 100 they want to sell in the US that plans to by Onion cases?  I know in a few months there will be plenty.  I'd gladly take unmodified or modified if anyone is looking to unload.  I'm going to research some other smaller case types for Atari, Intv, Colecovision, and Genesis.

You must be on or near the east coast like me.  FedEx and UPS use zoned rates and those things are coming from Cali.  I always order at least 2 cases at a time from them for that reason
