Seeing these again really have my interest once more.  Doing this

1. Saves on paper and ink, which I assume is 8.5" x 11"
2. Saves on shelf space
3. MUCH cheaper than UGC's with cover printing
4. Environmentally friendlier

Plus, picking up 80 - 110 lb cardstock in bulk is fairly cheap if I remember, about 7 or 8 bucks for 100 sheets.

Ya know, I might take this project on. :D

It would be intense, but imagine the things we all could do with it. No issues with "original authenticity" being they are different sizes, smaller and easier to find paper size, less shelf space. 

I think I'll work something up when I get a chance.....

My only real concern would be the fragility of them, the same as original boxes.  I think they'd look awesome, make no mistake, I just can't seem myself tossing a paper sleeve on the games :/

Use cardstock of same thinkness as original, and add clear laquer...
