Has anyone not in the states who doesnt have access tried using vhs cases for there cartridge based games? i remember back in the day video stores would use vhs cases to hire out games in, i know they are bigger than ugcs, but including postage costs i pay $4USD per universal game case, where as i can get vhs cases for $0.33 USD. dimensions for the ones i can buy are : 120x203x30mm ive tried using wide dvd cases but once you cut away the lugs and stuff they dont feel as solid, where as a vhs should. i might order bout 20 or so of them in a couple of days to try it out for my SG-1000 collection. If anyone is keen i can post photos and what not. |

I started for my super Famicom games, as the size of VHS is pretty similar to the original boxes - but quickly got dored with the idea, and just went for some decent clear multi-dvd cases, primarily because i don't have to change the dimensions from the UGC covers here on the site. I do however keep my handhelds in VHS cases. |

Sheep2001 is right 8 WAY DVD cases are the next best thing to UGC. |

VHS cases won't fit manuals either, if that's a concern for you. I was ready to place an order a few months ago and was so glad I found out from here ahead of time that they wouldn't fit. |

i might give them a go anyway, all websites in my country that did supply 27mm dvd cases now dont supply them. ill order a couple of vhs since they are cheep enough as a trial and check them out with sg-1000,master system, mega drive carts. |
