So I just got a DS Lite for Christmas and it works great, but recently one of the hinge parts has started cracking which makes the whole top segment floppy. Does anyone know of a way to repair this? Glue comes to mind but that would risk gluing the hinge in position.

I can't post pics atm but any help would be appreciated.

Replacement shell is the way is go. There are tons of aftermarket shells on eBay and there's a least one guy that sells used original shells (I've purchased a few, they're generally in really good shape). That's what I would do.

Yea, I just re-cased my first DS lite last night actually. Kind of a pain in the butt. Took me 3 hours.
(I was also replacing the bottom screen & digitizer. but that honestly took 10 minutes)

The new Case was $10 from deal extreme.
