Photos done with a point & shoot, DSLR, Instagram, whatever, share 'em here! Anything video game related & cool!

Thought I'd share my most recent Gamecube pickups, the Hori Digital Controller for Gamecube & Gamecube Component Cable...

The Hori's long lost older step-cousin, the SNES controller

The connector has a chip inside of it, but I never realized how big it was until I saw it in person.

Share some of your cool pics here!

Man, I love this controller. I got lucky after scouring eBay searching for a black one at a decent price for several months. A guy listed it simply as "Hori Digital Controller", it was new in the original North American box (though the plastic wrap was partially off), and got it for $25 with free shipping. Just goes to show you, you never know what you can find when people don't know what they are listing.

Wow, those pictures look so professional. How do you do it? Is there a specific camera you can recommend?

Thanks! I used my prime lens (lens without zoom) for these pictures on my dslr. The "focused with blurry background" effect is done by turning down the F-Stop. I use a Canon T1i, which is an older model so you can get one off Craigslist for pretty cheap as far as cameras go (about $350). Its more camera than I ever need.  ;)

Its not so much the gear as it is just having fun with it and doing what makes sense to you. I'm just a casual photographer who now only snaps his video game pickups  ;D

Have fun, and post pics!

Love your pics. Makes me wish I'd taken a photography class or two in school.
