Well, guys! I have another Game Boy cover for all of you. This is the first very rare complete in box game I bought for original Game Boy. I paid $170 for this game plus $3.99 for shipping. $170 was my best offer and it was accepted. The original price was $200. I am so stoked I got this cover made. The main site has a custom cover of this game and it looks good, but, the site could really use the real retail cover. I recently bid and won a small lot of 10 Game Boy boxes. It had 4 for Game Boy Advance and 6 for Game Boy Color. One of the 6 Game Boy Color boxes I received is Hello Kitty's Cube Frenzy. I already made a cover of that and it's on the main site. I am going to resell Spy vs. Spy sometime in the future. I recently sold the 6 Barbie games on eBay. I have some Game Boy games complete in box for sale on eBay. My screen name on eBay is the same. I mainly buy complete in box games or empty boxes for scanning purposes and then resell them when the covers are finished. I'll take some pictures of my collection soon and post them here.

Hi everybody! I'm back with five more Game Boy Advance covers for your collections! Before I get to the covers, I'd like to give a nice, warm welcome to sinomod and Tchalla. Welcome to The Cover Project, guys! The covers you both made look good, but they need a little more work in order for them to be site worthy. Now, just what you all have been waiting for: my new covers. Two of them are brand new ones the site doesn't have. If you notice below, I have two covers for Frogger's Adventures: Temple of the Frog. You might be wondering, "Why do you have two covers for that game?" That's a good question. One cover is the 1st release and the other cover is the 2nd release. The 2nd release has a 25th Anniversary logo on the front. The 1st release has the old Konami logo and the 2nd release has the new Konami logo. The old Konami logo looks the best. There are also a few differences in the text on the back cover. Frogger came out in the arcades in 1981. I wasn't born yet. I was born in 1983. Speaking of birthdays, I turned 33 on October 11. My brother told me I'm getting old. However, I don't look that old. If you want to see what I look like, check out the forum thread "What do you guys look like?" Hey, everybody! Rockabilly1983 here! I have five more Game Boy Color covers for all of you. I am now all finished with the empty box lot I bid and won on eBay. Now all I need to do is resell them. This year's Portland Retro Gaming Expo was so much fun. The van that was used in the Angry Video Game Nerd movie was there at the expo. I also saw the van at last year's event. There was an NES and a Nintendo 64 hooked up two TVs inside the van. The NES had Silver Surfer on it so I decided to play it. I beat the game twice. One guy came and noticed me playing the game and he apologized that I had to play that game. I asked him why he was apologizing because he didn't do anything wrong. I explained to him that I like Silver Surfer as it's one of my childhood favorites. I talked with some of the gamers as well as the vendors. I had a hard time deciding what games I wanted to buy next for scanning purposes. I eventually got around to purchasing seven complete Game Boy games. Of course, their free play arcade and console area was open all day long on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I played quite a few of the consoles including an original Game Boy store kiosk that had Tetris on it. I remember playing on those a lot when I was 7 back in 1990. Whenever Mom and I would go to the store that had video games, I would go over and play on the Game Boy or Super Nintendo while she would shop around. Two places I played them at was Sears and Montgomery Ward. Montgomery Ward went out of business many years ago. Ahh, those childhood memories! How I love to tell them! Halloween recently passed and I hope you guys had a great Halloween and ate lots of candy. I dressed up as a cowboy for work and got many compliments. We had a costume competition that day too. I won 6th place and got a trophy. This is the first time I have gotten a trophy in my life. I am going to treasure it. Now, just what you've all been waiting for: the covers! 4 of them are brand new covers the site doesn't have. Before I end this, I want to give a big, warm welcome to yotsuya. Hey, guys! I'm back with another cover for your collections. This is my 5th Classic NES Series cover. I have been wanting to do Super Mario Bros. for quite awhile. I got my hands on the empty box for this game on eBay for so cheap. This game goes for $25 to $35 complete in box because it's so popular. I was in Reno this past weekend and won $340.15. I got five big wins on three different penny slots. Of the five, I hit the minor jackpot three times on Crazy Money Deluxe. The minor jackpot starts at $150. It's a fun penny slot. While I was in Reno, I cycled down to Cap'n Games in Sparks to sell two complete in box Game Boy Advance games. I couldn't make up my mind because all the complete in box Game Boy games they had were all gone. I guess somebody in Reno discovered this site and bought 'em all. I was very disappointed. They also recently got rid of a lot of their arcade machines in their small arcade area. I asked them why they did that and they told me the machines weren't making much money. Mom and I are planning to head to Reno again this coming weekend. Maybe they'll have some other games for me to buy as I have $40 in store credit. This cover was very easy to restore because it's very basic. I have a lot more complete in box Game Boy games I picked up at Portland Retro Gaming Expo in October. Merry Christmas, everyone! I have an early Christmas gift for all of you. Six brand new Game Boy covers the site doesn't have. Wow! I can't believe it's been over a month since I posted covers here. I love Christmas and look forward to it every year. I have so many fond childhood memories of Christmas. I miss being a kid. I played lots of video games growing up. I also watched a lot of the Christmas TV specials such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Frosty Returns, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and A Charlie Brown Christmas. I watch those specials every year on TV. There were also Christmas commercials that I remember from my childhood. They hold a special place in my heart. I get flashbacks every time I watch them. I have three old Christmas commercials I'd like to share with you:

Hey, gamers! It's 2017! Happy New Year! Here are my first two Game Boy Color covers for the new year. These are the only two Austin Powers games for Game Boy Color. I noticed that the covers have a number on the spine and back. They both say, "One game in a highly-collectable series of four games!" on the back. I did some research and realized that there is no 3rd or 4th Austin Powers game for Game Boy Color, not even on Game Boy Advance. Why didn't Nintendo make a 3rd or 4th Austin Powers game? This blows my mind. Why would you say there are four games when only two exist? It doesn't make sense. I looked around and noticed that there is Austin Powers Pinball for Windows and original PlayStation and Austin Powers - Operation: Trivia for Windows/Macintosh. There isn't a number 3 or 4 on the back of those two games. Isn't that something? I don't get it. Let's get back to the update. I hope all of you had a nice Christmas and Happy New Year. I'm going to continue to do my best in making covers for this site. The video game swap meet in Portland, OR is in two weeks. I'm looking forward to it. Who knows what I'm going to find? I sorry if i wasnt very present in this community. I made the Yoshis Island Cover for GBA. Long long time ago.
I want to celebrate this new year with another project.

Stills in development, i want to share it with you as it grows.

Is the Cover for the Super Mario 3 for GBA but with the classic NES look, which is my favorite cover of all time. The game too.

I need to print it and make recreate the screenshots with the GBA version of mario.
As you can see i also make the label from the original NES version and the face of the box.
