Hello, all you cover gurus and game collectors! I'm back with two more covers for your collections. These are two brand new ones for The Cover Project. First off, I'd like to give a big compliment to TheAristocrat0. Great job on the NFL Blitz Game Boy Color covers! Keep up the good work! Now, on with the update. I picked up Brother Bear at the Portland Retro Game Swap Meet. The game is really cool but I've never seen the movie. I should check it out one of these days. The other cover took quite a bit of work but I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. Be sure to check back very soon. I will have some more brand new covers for you.

I'm back with another cover update! I put over 12 hours of work into this cover. It's my very first Japanese Game Boy cover. I picked up this game at the Portland Retro Game Swap Meet too. It's really neat how small the box and the instruction manual is for Japanese Game Boy games. I did a lot of research to find out how to retype Japanese writing. It wasn't easy. There are online Japanese keyboards that automatically convert letters into Japanese writing. That's good if you're familiar with Japanese and can read it. I personally can't read Japanese. I only know basic words and phrases from watching anime. There is a Japanese character recognition website I used here: http://maggie.ocrgrid.org/nhocr/. This website can identify most Japanese characters from an image. For characters that are really tough to identify, I use KanjiTomo. You can get that program here: kanjitomo.net. This is a very handy program that can identify single Japanese symbols from an image too. It's also a Japanese to English dictionary. Once you find the right symbol in the program, you copy and paste it into your text box. This was the toughest cover I've worked on because I had to go back and forth to identify lots of the Japanese writing. While I was at it, I copied and pasted some of the Japanese writing I retyped in Photoshop right into Google Translate to find out what some of the writing says in English. I felt I was cracking a code while being fascinated at the same time. Here is the Japanese writing for the word "Game Boy": グ‐ムボ‐イ. Game Boy games released in the U.S. and Europe all have a side bar on the front of the box art. Japanese Game Boy boxes don't have a side bar and they're very small. I made this cover with the front side bar and one without the front side bar. This way, you can use the cover that you like best. I got the size for the back cover using Larryinc64's Japanese cover of Super Mario Land. Well, I'm going to let you guys go so you can check out my very first Japanese Game Boy cover!

Hi, guys! I have another new Game Boy Advance cover with a bonus. This cover is already on the main site but the quality is terrible. I made a better, higher quality version. Now, here's the bonus. This cover has the word "Open" in the upper right corner of the front cover. On the actual box, there is a flap that opens up. It has extra screenshots and game information. The box flap insert was a challenge to put together and line up perfectly. When you print this insert, you fold it in half and put it in the area where the instruction manual goes inside the case. Pretty cool, huh? Now it's available for anyone who has a copy of Tron 2.0: Killer App. I measured a Classic NES Series insert from my Game Boy Advance copy of Ice Climber to get an idea on how tall and wide I should make the box flap insert. I found a mistake on one of the sentences on the back cover. The sentence had the words "Game Boy Advanced Game Link". When I was retyping the text, I corrected that sentence to make it say "Game Boy Advance Game Link". That's what the cable is called. I don't know how Nintendo missed that. The system is called Game Boy Advance; not Game Boy Advanced. I always check for any grammar and spelling errors when I retype text. Enjoy the new cover with the bonus box flap insert!

Hello again! I'm back with another cover. This one was pretty easy to do and it took me approximately 5 hours to complete. It's a brand new cover The Cover Project doesn't have. This is the only Game Boy Advance game I've seen that doesn't have the usual "Only For" logo in the upper-left corner of the side bar. I found that kind of unusual. This same game was also released for Nintendo DS. Happy gaming!

Hey, all you cover gurus and collectors! I have another cover for all of you. This one is already on the main site but it looks horrible. Here's a better, higher quality cover. Celebrate 70 years with Monopoly on the Game Boy Advance. That's right. When this game was released for Game Boy Advance in 2005, the actual board game itself turned 70 years old. Now, it's currently 2015 and the game is now 80 years old. Time flies when you're having fun. Ha ha ha! Just like Uno, I also like to play Monopoly in real life and video game form. There have been so many themed sets of Monopoly released. It's very overwhelming. I want to get the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic themed Monopoly set when the price goes down. I am a big fan of that show. Until the next time, take care.

These are the first covers I made. Never used Photoshop before so I'm quite happy with the results.

To make these I used Shenske's Template and I took items from different covers on this site.

Hope you like them (suggestions on how to improve are welcome)

Hey Nickgeel do you do gameboy color covers?

I haven't made one yet. I want to do my Game Boy Classic games first and then move on to the GB color games.
