I don't know if this helps. I did this Battletoads a few months back. It's not perfect. However, I'm sure it can be quickly converted for a 3DS box.... For what it's worth.

I don't have that one yet, but that will be helpful if I get it and need to box it up! And I'm sure others that are boxing with the 3DS method could use it too :)
