Nintendo Cart Screws: What Size?
wiggy:
Sorry, clicked post before I was done by accident. Stupid phone :-\
Also, don't ever expect those big stores to be able to help you find much of anything except 2x4 and floor tile. They're just useless for the small stuff like this :(
The screws inside the N64 carts ARE Philips, so you prolly don't really need those unless you're missing some. As far as Gamebit screws go, the bits will fall apart long before you damage the screw. I've never been able to strip one, and I've taken apart a LOT of Nintendo carts and systems.

Well, my copy of the original "Super Mario" had a stripped gamebit screw in it last year, and getting it out was a chore. Whenever I buy used games, I take them apart for cleaning. Sometimes, the screws are damaged or missing, so I'd like to have spares.

SPORTS GAMES... Sports games are good for parts!!!

I bought a lot of those to have replacement SNES shells, but I can't find any NES ones for dirt cheap. Either way, I still will need replacement screws.

True, but avoid using donor carts just for screws. No reason to ever ruin a game, no matter what it is.
