How do you guys store Floppy Disks?
TyrannicalFascist:
Yeah, yeah obsolete technology. Still. Has anyone found a good storage means for floppy disks, specifically 3 1/2 inch?
I was messing around with one of my clear EU DS cases and found that each holds 3 of them very well in the clips. But, I imagine there must be an even better way to store those old things and look nice alongside my other games.
Could they fit in the sleeves of the Poly Cases, in place of CDs?
I know that for old PC games, you could just copy the contents onto a CD-R to accomplish the same task, but I wonder if there's a good storage solution for the original disks.
Arseen:
How are mine stored? they just lay somewhere (not that I have many nor is there anthing important on the) ;D
And yes they will fit in the poly case sleeves.
scarmullet:
I keep mine in the boxes they came in, or in a floppy disk caddy. I actually have a few that came in jewel cases of their own...they are small and fit a nice label. I have never seen them sold separately, but they are nice when you have a game with one floppy for it.
HeelTactics:
Since I haven't been able to find a way to store them in real cases, I've been printing "cover art" on a printable CD sleeve template and storing the in a file storage. Not an amazing display but it works.

If you do a google search, there are CD style cases that have a tray for 3.5" floppies instead of CDs. There's also DVD cases that do the same thing, but they're a little harder to find. I'll see if I can dig some links out for you later. CD style cases would be awesome for saving space, but I'd assume that DVD style cases would be best because of manuals and inserts.
