Lmao. I just had my first awesome pickup of the year (kind of).

My younger brother picked up a a broken DS light a while back to repair and flip, decided it wasn't going to be profitable enough so he traded it to me.
I Just got the parts in from DX, and went to look at the DS. Well last month I bought a small DS soft case for it at a yard sale for $0.25.

I noticed there was a cloth flap on the case I didn't see before. I open it up and there's 3 Pokemon ranger games in it xD

So I got 3 Pokemon ranger games and a DS case for $0.25

GameStop called me the week before Mass Effect 3's release as I had pre-ordered the collector's edition for the PC and they said I had to be there at Midnight or they would sell my copy to anyone who wants it. I showed up of course as the game was sold out everywhere else, and then I have not shopped there since.

On pickups, I stopped by Goodwill and found some good pickups.

Dreamcast Performance Memory Card
2 Dreamcast controllers (needed severe cleaning as permanent marker and stuff all over)
An OEM Model 1 Genesis 3-Button controller
An Atari Flashback 3 w/ 2 Controllers
Another PS2 controller as you can never have enough of those.

Then my local game store had a few sales so I picked up:

NES Black Box GOLF
Eternal Champions (Genesis)
Tetris (GameBoy, this one was looking like it was brand new so it is going to replace my aged plastic looking one)

Have not received yet but there is few on ebay right now.. original MSRP was $1300 in 2006. it was officially endorsed by nintendo.. I have been looking for a reasonable price unit for about 3 years now.. also it can be either car mounted or just haul around since it has a rechargeable battery just like a portable dvd player..

There's one hell of a profit opportunity right there. Even Gamestop's crappy TiVs will net you a profit, though I'd check Amazon first.

Buy a sports game with a perfect case, use a blow dryer to take off the label, switch casing, and reprint the label.

Or you could clean that cartridge with some Goof Off and 90% Alcohol. I have grabbed games in worse condition and redid them and now they look brand new.
