Today's pickups...all impulse buys from gamestop.

Enchanted Arms w/ box and graphic novel ($5)

Project Sylpheed ($3)

Record of Agarest War Zero Limited Edition
(marked as used for 18 bucks but it came with all the Limited Edition items and the game itself is still factory sealed!)

Now just have to figure out how to remove the stickers off the paper boxes without damaging it :(

Good deal on Agarest!

One reason I avoid Gamestop is because they don't seem to give a crap about the condition of their limited editions.  They just fire them on the shelf and they end up getting creased and crushed and then the stickers on top of that.

In Canada, EB games has switched to stickers that are easier to peel off.  I usually use my fiancee's hairdryer to melt the glue under the sticker before attempting to peel it off.  I find this helps eliminate the risk of ripping or leaving part of the sticker on the cardboard.

Superchop:

Yeah, I lucked out.  I saw the empty box there and asked the employee if it came with everything listed or if it was just the game.  If it was just the game I was gonna pass on it and maybe ask if I can just keep the box but he searched for a bit and found everything lol.

While I don't like going to GameStop for all my gaming needs, I do go to check out what they have and every so often I do find a rare or obscure game hidden amoung the mass of broken and incomplete games lol

There's a how-to on my blog about that ;)

Moviefan2k4:

Some people recommend using orange oil for sticker removal, or products based on them like Goo Gone (not Goof Off!).

wiggy:

No, not on paper products!

It's just orange oil and will soak it and NEVER dry out.
