read these, study these...

After checking all of the links you posted, I can safely say that I'm happy with what I already have. Just about everything else is subjective at best, stuff like F-Zero and Earthbound aren't great games worth purchasing imho, and other stuff like Star Fox is already available on other consoles(In this case, N64 and 3DS) in a superior capacity. All of the true essentials, I already own, and in some cases multiple copies of.

On the Star Trek thing, Khan's gang were a group of Supermen created from the Eugenics wars in the 1990s, besides a starship seems to be very easy to take over. Anyone with the know how, only needs to take over engineering, lock the doors, and you can take control of bridge functions from there, which is what Khan did. Kirk gave Khan access to documents and all that as a sign of good will, and the fact that people that have been lost since the 1990s would have to find a way to find a niche in a galactic federation. Not only did Kirk give Khan the manuals to the ship, but historical texts as well.

Lt. McGivers was aroused by Khan due to his origin with the fact that much history of the Eugenics Wars and World War 3 have been lost as a consequence of the wars, she initially wanted to learn all she can, but Khan used this as an advantage to seduce her and have her work for him as a mole. She wasn't an idiot, just hormones.

I could understand giving him a history textbook, but giving him the ships manual when you know nothing about his character was just dumb. I could understand giving it to him after you did a BG check and got to know him to see he was not hostile. If he did not read the manual, he would not of had the know how to take over the ship.

With McGivers, They could have written that better, she spent most of the episode kinda dazed and confused, even before Khan seduces her, I can understand a bit of why she why she was this way, just file that under "Dated"
also Khan's makeover of her hair looked like a cross between a mullet and a Beatles haircut.
+ =

I'm probably going to watch episodes in order soon, The reason I saw this one was I saw the beginning of ST2: WOK with my mom, up to the part with the worms and ears, and we decided to see the episode he came from.

well McGivers was ship historian, and the chance to get details on an era that was lost in time was overwhelming...and she probably already had a sexual attraction to Khan, which Khan was able to exploit.

And giving him the manuals. The World of Star Trek is different than our own. Force is used as a last ditch effort, and peace is to be maintained. The olive branch is well used, and it back fired on them. Kirk may have thought that since he was a genetically superior man in many ways, he could acclimatize to the new culture Humans have adopted since his time much quicker than anyone else. Again, it backfired on him.

Wow, that's a hell of a steal. You got Kirby Air Ride for an even cheaper price than you would had a disc-only copy at Gamestop's 75% off offer, and complete to boot. I'm surprised Kirby Air Ride managed to get not only Player's Choice, but Best Seller as well; It's definitely an underrated gamecube title.

Though I imagine by this point Wiggy is getting mildly agitated by all these Air Ride pickups.  :D

to be fair, it's missing the manual... still a great pick up though :P

You've definetley got a good few Sega Genesis covers we dont have up on the site yet. Galaxy Force II, General Chaos, Task Force Harrier Ex just to name a couple.

Here are the scans along with some other stuff I didn't see on the site.  I think some of this I have scanned and posted before (probably at least a year ago) but it has yet to ever make it onto the site.

Meh, I want it, but not like it's my dying wish. It was only in the hopes of finding it for a couple of bucks that got be really excited.

Also, 007, Star Fox 64 is a completely different game than the SNES version. They have virtually nothing in common.  It's like saying "I don't see the need to play Street Fighter 2 because I've played Super Street Fighter 4".

Picked up this mint complete NES yesterday. They were cleaning out the basement and getting rid of all the junk, as they called it. They asked me to make them an offer. I threw out $35 and they took it. Now I just need to find the later action set with the orange Zapper.

Another great SNES title is Demon's Crest.  Been looking for it for awhile....

But picked up two sega genny's (model 1 and 2) and what do ya know, the model 2 has controller port one issues, just like my other one.
Looks like I gotta resodder some stuff

But he sure loves his Shaq Fu!

I picked up Kirby's Air Ride, Mega Man X Collection, Pokemon Gale of Darkness, Wind Waker and The Four Swords Adventures for $30 off some High School kid on Craigslist back in October. Such a deal.

Haha! Yeah, I bet he would have gone for less. Not a bad idea. The worst they can do is say no and I make them another offer.

Yep, I've been looking for that one a while too.

Star Fox 64 is a remake of the original Star Fox, isn't it? It's what I've been hearing(and seeing).

If it's not an outright remake then I might reconsider getting a copy of SNES Star Fox, but that's it.

By the way, how much WOULD you be willing to purchase a disc only copy of Kirby's Air Ride? It is quite the gem after all...

Its not. More accurate is its based on the left overs of starfox 2
