So, one of the Gamestops in my area(The only one withing 20 miles that still sells Gamecube games) is having the 75% off Gamecube games sale, so I've compiled a list of games to get;

Mario Sunshine

Mario Party 5
Pikmin
Shadow The Hedgehog
Sonic Mega Collection
Crash Wrath Of Cortex

Quick question, does the 75% stack with the 10% for Pro Reward Members? Because the difference between 75% and 85% here is literally like $10-$15 dollars.

Those games will be VERY hard to get a hold of. GS hasn't taken in GameCube games in over a year. Pretty much any of the games made by Nintendo have likely sold by now since there are no games being traded in to replenish them.

The 10% does stack but not how you think. You get 75% off then 10% off of the remaining value. 
So if a game cost $10 you get 75% off = $2.5. You'll get 10% off of $2.5 (aka $0.25).

But, at about .75 per game, it's worth it for the cases, even if they're beat.  I just spend an hour today re-sleeving about 10 GCN cases for my games that have been stuck in regular DVD cases for whatever reason.

Well, it shows that those games are in stock at the Gamestop I plan to go too. Hopefully it's not a case of them being lazy on the update, otherwise I will be one unhappy camper.

Call them.  I would all but guarantee that they're not in stock.  


If they are, you are one seriously lucky SOB and should buy them out!

edit: I just checked 3 stores near me that I've been to in the last 2 days and they list having ALL of those games as well.  I know for a fact that they don't.  That inventory is busted as hell.

I plan to bring a list with me, and whatever they have in stock they will grab for me. After the 85% discount (Or 75%+10%...), I will be getting probaly one of the best bargains of my life.

Any doubles will either be re-sold or stored away for the future. Stuff like Mario Sunshine and Smash Bros. Melee would be good stuff to introduce to my future children!

I mean, one time I went to get other stuff, and they surprised me with a pair of DK Bongos for a mere couple dollars, so stranger stuff has happened at that store in the past. lol

Well don't expect much.  Check my revised post.  Plus it's still 75% + 10% AFTER that, like Shenske said.  So a $10 game would still be $2.25, not $1.50.

I have clean all the gamestops in my town... only 4 out of about 20 did have some Gamecube games. I call around the stores in my area and i was told which stores were still selling gamecube games. Also a employee told games are shipped or tranfers to store that sell the most titles.. I found a store with a big selecting of PS2 games and when they start to sell out Ps2 games I will be ready (by june/july told by employee)...

I haven't counted them but i think i have somewhere around 130 gamecube games a lot of them are crappy... but i got probably around 50 official cases.. many sports titles and many disney/kids titles but the most i paid for a game was $2.93 and that was DDR Mario Mix which I probably got like 4 of them..so most likely you will pay from .26 - to less that $4 per game...
tiger woods titles are double disc and i think i got about 6 of those with cases.... Happy Hunting..

I agree with Wiggy the selecting is really crappy and I have purchase a lot of the leftover games are they are not that good. the best game i got was Kirby air ride and , no mario games, or zelda title the only mario games i got were DDR Mario Mix..LOL

Yeah, I really wanted a Kirby Air Ride myself, but no luck.  I've got a few more stores in my area.  May try again tomorrow.  I did get a few solid titles though.  I'll post pics ASAP.

After viewing Wiggy's revised post... I think it may be best to give the store another call and forward them my list. Even if they only have a few, it may still be worth the gas, but if they have none, or just one or two, then forget about it.
