but, it doesnt work as a pro controller.... I was close to buying one too

Can use it as a wiimote (which is akward), and classic controller, it will work for some wiiu games but will not have the same functionality as a pro controller, hard to explain lol

I hate GameStop employees!! They told me it did work as a Pro Controller, that's why I bought it. The same guy told a woman there that 3DS games work on the original DS, I had to tell her it was not true so she wouldn't waste money on something her daughter couldn't play.

Found this at GameStop today:

I just got my Wii U for Xmas and have been thinking about getting a Pro controller for a few weeks, this was $10 cheaper and at least 100 times cooler.

I saw them on Amazon in Gold, Super Famicom and SNES coloring and thought about it, but I am not sure how well it will work with the Wii U so I am avoiding it for now.

Saw that at Gamestop yesterday and could only think "ick" :/

I actually have a pickup to post!  I'm just printing covers and re-skinning GCN cases to pretty everything up first ;)

Lol looks similar games I went after for my collection. On the plus side getting the PAL version will say you a ton in some case like little samson. Uforia has just gone up to retarded levels lately. Same with some of the snes games, you used to get shadowrun, demons crest and soul blazer for about 20-30$less than what they are up to now.

That said, i will keep my eyes out for a substantial deal on any of these and let you know.

I'm sorry, but that's probaly the worst controller I've ever seen. Worse than the original Wii Classic Controller, even.

Unrelated, but I had a dream last night that I found a brand new NES... and played Kirby's Adventure on it. Twas a good dream. Wierd thing, though, is that the NES was a "NES Slim", which doesn't exist but would be cool. lol

I just spent $70...more than I have ever spent on a single game...used....on a copy of Earthbound. I finally have a copy...though I am a tad bit paranoid..

That's pretty good considering it goes for $150-$200 now. Even if you don't like it you easily double your $$

I enjoy the game, I am simply replacing a game that was stolen years ago. Damn you Smash Brothers, EB would be cheaper if it wasn't for you.

Just put it in a UGC in a lockbox and chain it to the shelf. Paranoia obliterated. ;D

And not to add to the paranoia, but if you got it online, make sure you open it up and check if it's a reproduction masquerading as the real thing - Earthbound is one of only a few NTSC SNES games that I've seen get pirated before...
I'm looking for vol. 2, 4, and 5 of the Orchestral Game Music Concert CDs. I'll pay well if it's authentic and doesn't skip. :)

THAT is why I am paranoid...the piracy. The game is going on my shelf and played.

I have seen a number of SNES games get pirated from Final Fantasy II and III to Super Mario All Stars+Super Mario World.
