Random question - has anyone done Game Boy repros? Is it even possible? I'm sure the market wouldn't be as big, but I would think a green cart with an English ROM of Pokémon Green would sell pretty well.

This too! I haven't seen ANYONE make a Gameboy repro so i'm not so sure about that one

I have seen Mother 3 repros available at nintendoage..so it is possible. I cant imagine there being special hard ware in the carts so I bet they just made a PCB, and wired it up instead of using a doner.

Those are Gameboy Advance repros. I'm pretty sure they just used a flash cart only loaded with the one rom and it autobooted to that rom.

I would think buying GBA flash carts would be expensive...though easier than printing your own PCBs (or having them made), and soldering a flash based rom to the board to act as the mask rom.

They use donors for GBA carts based on what I've seen.

wow okay i didn't think would get this much replies, well send me a pm of the game you wanna see a repro of it, and ill see what i can do, (game boy ill check if i can program them)
