PS3 BD Playback Problem
Hey guys, got a problem.  I cannot watch blu-ray's on my PS3...  Every time I put a BD in, my TV goes black with a message that states "Format Not Supported". 

My TV is an HDTV that is 720p yet accepts signals that are 1080i.  Even with that aside, shouldn't BD's play on any HDTV?  Just at a reduced output (720p in my case).  Any ideas on why I CAN play PS3 games with NO problem, but cannot watch a BD?  Aren't PS3 games in 1080p?

Out of curiosity, what region is your PS3? It might be that you're trying to play discs from the wrong region.

Region A, or 1..  I'm in North America... Bought my PS3 and all BDs in North American stores such as Best Buy.
