SLOWLY been converting these from AI to PSD files.  Here's what I've got done so far.  They're PSD files with individual layers for the various colors.  Not every system has every color variant.  For some, like the SP, there are dozens upon dozens of variants.  If you want a specific color that isn't in the file, then let me know and I'll try and get that taken care of for ya'.

Here are ALL of them thus far (all in one ZIP file).

Gameboy
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance
Gameboy Advance SP
Gameboy micro
DS lite
3DS
Nomad
Retrogen
Neo Geo Pocket (color and "mini" color)
WonderSwan
WonderSwan Color
SwanCrystal
PSP
Pocketstation

The ZIP file is about 45mb, so just be warned ahead of time.

Gameboy

Gameboy Advance

Gameboy Advance SP

Gameboy micro

Nintendo DS lite

Nintendo 3DS

*These are all for double UGCs.

More to come as I get around to converting the files...

They fit on the legal size just fine.  I've been using my usual Super B size cut in two (9.5"x13")

I'm working on the rest. You know I've made em all, just need to get them into PSD format...

Looking great. Though I don't know if I'll be using those for two reasons:
1) I only have one handheld - GBC.
2) I play that one all the time, so it's always out in the open.
But nonetheless I like'em.

No it isn't. It just looks that way in the preview (I assume that you're talking about the spine image).

Hey, I don't use it, so don't blame me :P

You want the AI files for all the portables and covers instead of these fidly PSD files?  I just assume that people won't know how to deal with Illustrator, so I don't bother.

That's just the preview.  The full-size doesn't have that issue ;)

LOL!  Well, get some more ;D

Thanks!

OH yeah, cause they're super rare :P

The doubles can be nice because you can easily fit AC adapters and such in em as well as the console itself.  I know a lot of 'em will fit in singles, but that's just not as much fun.  Plus, they're consoles, they deserve that extra shelf space ;)

  • Think off-center.
I'd like the .ai for the Gameboy DMG (fat). Personal use only, you know I'm not gonna sell it and claim it as mine ;).

Ok, I'll up the AI files when I get home.  That'll make my life a lot easier to be honest.

Great as usual. Looking forward to seeing these with the double UGCs you made for me!

I almost wouldn't mind seeing matching covers for console controllers that fit in a double UGC, like NES, SNES, Genesis, Super Game Boy Controller, etc.

As a side note, what do you use to cut your covers out? Do you use some kind of cutter, or just do it by hand with scissors?

I was really close to making controller cases right before I made my giant drawer o' controllers LOL!

Just an Xacto, straight edge, and cutting mat ;)
