Would you want images taken from 63 different scanner models and 67 people, or a set of images taken from one specific scanner and one specific person? So please don't take any offense to me wanting to scan everything, that's not my intention at all.

Welcome, my Nintendo counterpart ;)

Specifically, right now my goal is to complete and own a full Japanese set, and to simply borrow and return the European set piecemeal. So if at all possible, I would like to buy Japanese CIB games, and borrow European carts and boxes that I will return (unless you don't want them, of course.)

So what do you guys think? Can we help each other achieve our mutual goals? :D

I wish you the best of luck.  I offered up my time and equipment to scan in a full set of Genesis and Game Gear manuals, though, haven't had anyone offer up anything (and I offered to cover shipping costs both ways):

You even got mentioned in that post :)  I posted it everywhere I could think of (here, SegaAge, DigitPress, AtariAge, Sega 16, etc) almost 6 months ago, and have yet to find anyone offering to let me borrow anything (I'm not asking to keep anything, other than scans :D

Hopefully you have better luck.

Also, while we are asking, if anyone has what I've noted as missing on my site, let me know.

I've only got a handful of JP boxes, Byuu, but I'd gladly let you borrow them for the cause.

Just so I understand, you have the entire US collection scanned already?

Mel:

I have around a couple dozen sfc boxes. What would be the best way to scan them.

The idea is that you send the boxes, he scans them to assure consistency and then he mails them back.
I helped Byuu a couple of years ago getting a Super Copa loose cartridge (back then these went for like $30). I think he's as reliable as his great emulator. If you can, help him!

I volunteer to help clean some covers. You always have my help, Arseen.
by the way, Arseen,  the Claymates cover is about 50% complete.
I am backed up because of a new 2TB hdd that I've recently purchased. Copying all of my data is a long process.

I would like to have a dump of all of the BYUU scans. I am missing 50% of the U.S. collection.  I have plenty of hdd space to backup the dump too
plus, I have cleaned 5% of my collection to date. I am also remaking manuals, like the Brett Hull Hockey '95 that I finished last year. More to come.
