Game Boy DMG/Color games in 3DS cases

Gentlemen....behold!



It has a very small amount of space above the cartridge which may make it rattle slightly if you have no manual to hold it in place. But I think it will stay pretty well if you simply put some foam on the left and right sides of it. Overall quality seems good as I've come to expect from Genesys DTP. I think I may just use these for all my cartridge games, cutting the DS slot and using foam to hold GB, GBC and GG like I did on my VB cases.

EDIT: I also decided to remove the DS slot on one as a test, and I can confirm Game Gear fits just fine.

The Kirby and Donkey Kong covers had the PAL logos on the front, I fixed them, and removed the ESRB on the DK, it is not on the original cover.

I guess Gimp removes the drop shadows, I'll make a Gimp version of the template soon.

How well does that keep the manuals in? My original non-OEM DS cases does not grip thinner manuals well and it slides out when I open the case. I may switch to that type for my GBA games if they do not slide out.

I just tested a few GBA manuals and from what it seems, the Genesys DTP cases hold them tighter somewhat. For example, my Sonic Advance manual slides around as you say on my official 3DS cases, but it is held just barely enough to stay put in these Genesys cases. However if you shake the case enough it does come loose. I got the same results with the booklets for Sonic Advance 2, Super Mario Advance, Mario Kart: Super Circuit and even the generic Game Boy Precautions booklet. All of those slid around in my regular 3DS case. The booklet for Sonic Genesis didn't stay, but it's so thin already it wouldn't have mattered.

It may just be the batch I have though. So I don't want to definitively say they hold them better, but it seems like they do slightly - enough on mine to keep them in place in all those I tested.

MY 3DS cases finally came in from Nintendo. I used one of the Resized DS arts posted here for zelda & it works perfectly! I'm planning to case my whole collection now this way.

Now i Need 3DS art for these 5 games. Can anyone here help?

The label is pretty rocked, but the upper right game is Final Fantasy Legend III.

Upper left is Aerostar, though I don't think that one even has a DS case to work with. It's pretty rare.

Here are some covers I made for my collection. They all have custom spines, but if you want to replace the spine, you can drop them in larryinc's template and replace them.

I have Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga with custom spine, and the "Mario All-Stars" series (SMB Deluxe, Super Mario Advance 1-4) with spanning spine image.
