Game Boy DMG/Color games in 3DS cases

Nice thing about this idea is 3ds cases are slimmer than regular ds cases so they take up less space lol

Oooo, didn't think to try other game carts...

GBA: Fits horizontally, obviously, but not snugly. sideways like the GB carts doesn't work because, as we all know, GBA games are wider than GB carts. However, the space to the left of the 3DS cart slot is almost perfect! To the right, it smashes into the manual clips

GameGear: Will probably fit, but will require you to modify the case. Still won't hold the manual. Maybe Vita cases will (did we check this at one point?)

NeoGeo Pocket/Color: Being almost as wide as a GB/C cart, fits perfectly fine. The extra thickness of the grip at the top actually keeps it from sliding around as much as the GB cart (I mean, it does still slide, but not as readily).

Do TG16 cards fit?

I'm not sure on TG16 cards.

One thing I'm interested in finding out - since the other cases I found have the 3DS card slot moved up, would that allow a GBA game to fit above it right-side up?

I'll be ordering some of each soon so I can check within the next few weeks.

BTW, they only allow 5 at a time, so the max you can buy is 25, (5 pacts of 5, 5 individual cases)

That's only per order, right? It says "Max # allowed per household" You can always make another shipment, right? I need 35.

Also, Gamestop can't give out the cases, Nintendo only sends out a very small amount for display f their special cases.

Funny... you used to be able to buy cases in 1's, 5's or 10's.  They got rid of the 10 option... Not too big of a deal.

I will point out, however, that you can order 5 of the 5 packs and 5 of the single packs.  Obviously, you pay a dollar more that way, but if you can squeeze by with 30 cases, it'll save you a bit on shipping vs. placing two orders.

Hmm... I'm not sure. Need to test that.

With larryinc64's template, I've started on an updated version of my Super Mario Deluxe/Advance custom spines. Until he or someone else makes the matching GBA template, I've temporarily put in GBC logos. Have a look:

Barely. My printer uses 4.064 mm as margins for every side. I loose 2-3 mm with each cover... The good part is that if you print the cover centered and leave a small white frame it won't matter as the 3DS cases will match the color

I've never had a problem printing out the regular ds/advance covers on 8.5x11 photo-paper.
