Streets of Rage 2 Japanese Cover Restoration Process

When it comes to game box cover artwork, it's common place to hear that Japanese got the better end of the stick. One problem with converting those images to domestic box art is the japanese text, logo's and box size. For me, the western marked got the worst box art for the Streets of Rage series. For years I wanted to fix this but the "Bare Knuckles" logo took up 1/3 of the box, covering important elements of the image. I finished restoring the Streets of Rage 2 japanese cover art and wanted to share it with those that care. I'll be making domestic covers with it.

I've already put together a map to restore the SOR 3/BK 3 cover. However, I need to obtain scans of the Bare Knuckles 3 Manual. I did restore Streets of Rage (Japanese artwork) for the purpose of making covers. When I did it, I didn't think of posting the final image as I did with this one. It was altered and down scaled when I worked into the Genesis template. I can see about find the original image if you want it outside the Genesis cover art.

I did work on the back cover image for SOR 2 but for the purpose of using it in on back of my cover work (You can kind of see it on the back of my cover but it's not clear). I didn't do it as a unit. I'd imagine I can probably put the two together.

This is the image I restored. I pulled it from the SOR Template I made. It's not as perfected as the SOR 2 cover. It's not as large as the original one I made either.
