For me it's all about spending time with family and friends and having a few days off work to relax and reflect on what was accomplished (or not  ;D) during the year.

I find as I get older it's more about the giving than receiving like when I was a

I love giving, but i just dont feel like its christmas unless i have atleast one toy to play with xmas morning. I think im going to buy myself a rc helicopter and put it under the tree this year just to make sure. Lol

Got the trees up ;D

Man cave tree

Living room tree

Also picked up some rather yummy candy canes this year. Life Savers in living room and Hershey's chocolate mint in the cave. It's been hard to not eat them all up :P

I'd never seem them before this year. To be honest, I was drawn to them more for their appearance than flavor (not that the flavor was a deterrent or anything ;) ).  They're damned pretty IMO. Cream colored with a thick brown stripe flanked on one side with a red pinstripe and a green on the other.

The red & green stripes are really thick in that pic. The packages that I picked up have really thin stripes. I'll have to snap a pic.

For sure!.  My girlfriend always makes sure I get something to play with.

When we were looking for a gift for our nephew I found myself wanting all kinds of lego stuff.  I'd actually love to get a big lego set like a Star Wars Death Star and attempt to make it.
