The Transiberian Orchestra has got me covered. That's the best and only Christmas music I like, classical meats metal meats christmas. Yummy!

Then if they don't have me covered, I just rewrite a Christmas song to my liking.  :P ;D

I have a bunch of old games on my list, some 90s cartoon series like X-men, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, and some anime like Cowboy Bebop.

I really wish they would come out with the old Beetlejuice cartoon. I believe I have all of season 1 on my computer but its all chopped up.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

I watched all 3 two nights ago while modding some consoles and making double UGCs for customers. 'Twas a good time!

  • It's dangerous to go alone...
Also, gotta have 8-Bit Jesus in the playlist!

I think this just made my entire month. Seriously, I have it playing right now! ;D
I'm looking for vol. 2, 4, and 5 of the Orchestral Game Music Concert CDs. I'll pay well if it's authentic and doesn't skip. :)

Did you skip one?

Anyway, I sometimes love just leaning back in my recliner, closing my eyes, and listening to Christmas music on the radio. No computer, TV, or anything else...just the music. One of my other faves is Amy Grant's "Grown-Up Christmas List". Kelly Clarkson's version is pretty good too, but I grew up with Amy's.

What are all you guys' favorite food for Christmas? I sometimes make what I call "trash", which is mixed cereals, pretzels, and nuts coated with chocolate almond bark, then broken apart when dried. Also, what's the most memorable gift that you ever gave to someone else (and I don't mean re-gifting)?

I have a mass of Christmas movies that I watch every year

A Christmas Story
Christmas Vacation
Silent Night, Deadly Night
Christmas Evil
Ernest Saves Christmas
Santa Claus (1985)

stuff like that. Other than that, I go to Bryan, Ohio every year with my family to see Christmas decorations, then we sacrifice a virgin, and swallow her soul....wait.
My LPs Channel. Currently playing Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Resident Evil 2.

NEW PLAN
MAke a animated cartoon of THIS SONG In less than 20 dayz.

Lets see how this goes.

I'm working with the band Beatallica, a Metallica/ Beatles mash up band, on a cartoon series based on the old Beatles TV show from the '60s.

Hmm, never even knew there was a 4th.  Looks like I was in my 5th year of college when it came out, which explains why I haven't heard of it. I sorta lived at school by that point.

Just recently pooled together to get a friend a PS3. Never celebrated Christmas growing up....usually seems like a crap holiday anyway.

You are such a good person Mick.  He is very lucky to have a friend as caring as you. I applaud you sir  :)  (seriously)

I don't see how anyone could see Christmas as a terrible holiday, unless they lived a very cynical life. Yes, there's lots of commercialization nowadays, but the heart of it all is still there. It's a time to celebrate all the good that we have in this world, especially because of Christ. People are welcome to disagree, but in my opinion, it isn't Christmas if you take the One who started it away.

For me it's all about spending time with family and friends and having a few days off work to relax and reflect on what was accomplished (or not  ;D) during the year.

I find as I get older it's more about the giving than receiving like when I was a kid.

I still remember only ever getting games on Christmas and on my birthday so Christmas was always awesome for a different reason as a kid.  I'll never forget the Christmas' when I received Mario 3, FFIV, and FFVI.

I'm not much for the religious aspect to it as religion just isn't for me, however, it doesn't bother me one bit that people still celebrate the religious aspects to it.

I'd also love to deck out my house like Clark Griswold style one day.
