Wireless controllers is what has me intrigued

segamer:

Well, those have been around for years. I know Toy's R Us carries them. I have an earlier model. They work great. However, it seems to have issues with a handful of games. I'd say it's about 97% compatible with the Genesis library. It's a great way to preserve your classic system. However, if you're going to by a third party system, get one of these:

Just for the record, none of these third party systems are well made. The are all know to break pretty easy. They are cheap.

wiggy:

They appear to be IR controlled, not RF.  If that's the case, then I'd just buy a set of IR controllers and use em with a real Genesis.

segamer:

I've been told that if you buy one of these systems... you should uses the original system controllers... I've been told the wireless controllers for these systems are garbage.

Blueprint:

toys r' us is going to have it on sale on BLACK FRIDAY for $25 .. I will probably pick one up then
