Alright, it's done! Really done! Unless someone points out a mistake! A Link to the Past:

Click on the image to go to my Box folder with 8 minor variations! All three dividing bar options, the same three with the "Only For" logo, a Player's Choice version (with gold stylings and such), and an alternate Player's Choice cover to match the original red/orange marble look of the original Player's Choice ALttP packaging (because I felt the normal version with the Player's Choice stuff was a little too gold). Here's what that last option looks like:

I decided to go back to all four screenshots to give me more space for the text. The text itself starts out with a bit leading in from the image at the top, then goes into a variation of the original box's text. I decided to move the "1 Player" icon to the far right and shrink it down a little. I also changed the fonts for the developer stuff and copyright to match the font I went with for the text blurb (Univers, which as far as I can tell is what Nintendo used)

SMW WIP.

Not sure which color scheme to go with: US/EU or Japanese. Will probably leave both as options.

I really dig the Blue one, especially with the detail you added of "motion" as if he's jumping. :)

This is Chubby; He hates Game Case Sellers who steal our artwork to profit their lazy kingdoms.

But he sure loves his Shaq Fu!

Oh yes please. About the only high res SMW art I've managed to find besides Mario & Yoshi there is Mario flying with the cape.

I likey!

Have you considered a very low opacity backdrop on those two?  Something like a world map or other level background?  Saturation turned down to zip and maybe like 15-20% opacity?   Might just give it a little more oomph.

YES! Thank you for the suggestion, Wiggy! I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to use the "world" normally found on the Japanese cover, or that I'd have to shove it into a corner on the back, since I couldn't find it at a good enough resolution... but as a monochrome background object, the lack of clarity on it works perfectly.

I've also typed up the back text (at least the original version, may or may not make some tweaks to it), corrected the barcode, added an outline to the "SUPER MARIO BROS. 4" text, and adjusted the logo colors to match the US box better.

I'm definitely going with the blue background, so I changed the 4 from the original dark blue (which worked well on the yellow Japanese box) to yellow (which actually matches the 2 in the GBA port's title) ... I'm not sure if that's how I'll keep it, though...

whole new WORL  ;D

The one part that I wasn't proofreading as I typed :D

Fixed that typo and the colors of "SUPER" on the spine (forgot it was separate).

Not enough to make another progress image.

Aaaand done:

There's one extra variation in the folder this time, labelled as "Dash 1"... this refers to the ID code on the spine. There's three versions of the Super Mario World cart: SNS-MW-USA, SNS-MW-USA-1, and SNS-MW-USA-2 (the Player's Choice version). The only difference between the one with the "-1" and the one without it is the arrangement of items on the label art.... but I wanted the code to accurately reflect the version I have (-1). I only did it for the red-bar "Only For" version, since that's the one I'm using :P

I also caught a typo on the Zelda cover thanks to actually spellchecking this one, so that's fixed. (I had credited the game's creation to "Nintendo Entertainment, Analysis, and Deveopment") Not updating the thumbnail because I'm lazy :P

And I'm changing the title of the thread. I think "Neo Retail" doesn't really get the idea across.

... And per wiggy and taigr81m's suggestions in the "New SNES covers" thread, I've added an alternative version without the system bar at the top:

One unintentional all-nighter later and: GoldenEye!

Movie posters make my job easier ;D

So, not only is this the first N64 cover in the series (or the first not-SNES for that matter), I added another option to the layout that wasn't in the initial N64 examples: Monochrome "N".

I've also included a version of the cover without the usual N64 color scheme

...and further than that a version that combines the two to make another "barless" cover, since that went over so well with Super Mario World. Mind you, that's an awful lot of black... and James Bond's hair is kind of cut off.... But whatever!

I can also very easily throw up any version with a blue spine and/or with the gunbarrel Bond on the spine rotated 90 degrees to the right (to match the logo orientation), if anyone wants them. Just didn't feel like saving all those minor variations if nobody cares.

These look amazing. Seriously considering redoing my entire collection now that I have my works laser printer at my disposal.
