Canada is just teh pricey. Luckily it's really easy to exploit his pricing system if you've got a contact in the US who can get the commons for nearly nothing (like 1-5 bucks) that he sells for 30, 40, or 50+ bucks

I have a small stack of N64 games that I paid roughly 40 bucks for. They're worth 300 in trade. That means I could get a copy of Earthbound for 40 bucks, despite their absurd $295 price tag. That's a deal no matter how you look at it. That's 2002 Earthbound pricing right there.
I think it's insane, but as long as his system can be exploited, then I don't mind it one bit
