Nice article, but why did you model your packaging after condom commercials? |

(stupid Blockbuster stickers >:() --- End quote --- --- Quote from: wiggy on November 13, 2012, 04:41:03 PM ---It works on pretty much every adhesive I've encountered, BUT it won't penetrate the plastic part of the sticker. You'd still have to pull that off first, and that has lots of potential to destroy the game :( If you REALLY REALLY want to remove those horrid labels, then I'd try soaking the disc in warm/hot soapy water. I've had decent results with that, but it's far from a perfect solution. Also, you sorta need to babysit it while doing so. Let it sit in the warm water for 5 mins, then try to peel a bit of the label, then soak for a few more, peel a bit more, etc... --- End quote --- I personally use a hair dryer to heat up the disc and sticker, DON'T get it really hot but warm the sticker up enough and it just peals right off, I've done this with many games and they all still work find. If you have any residue left after that, (which I normally don't) use Wiggy's method of cleaning. Like I said, I've never had any problems with this method. --- Quote from: bubbleheid on January 13, 2013, 08:27:11 AM ---was unable to locate bestine anywhere locally. However did purchase an item from local Aldi today; called "Sticky Stuff Remover". costs £2.49 http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/special_buys3_28599.htm I have only used it on normal game cases with sleeves and it work great. especially for removing the stickers, you used to get from comet with the metal strips that left a grid on the case. --- End quote --- Wow, I didn't know Aldi was international. lol. :D |
