It works on pretty much every adhesive I've encountered, BUT it won't penetrate the plastic part of the sticker.  You'd still have to pull that off first, and that has lots of potential to destroy the game :(

If you REALLY REALLY want to remove those horrid labels, then I'd try soaking the disc in warm/hot soapy water.  I've had decent results with that, but it's far from a perfect solution.  Also, you sorta need to babysit it while doing so.  Let it sit in the warm water for 5 mins, then try to peel a bit of the label, then soak for a few more, peel a bit more, etc...

Yuck, stupid Blockbuster...  >:(
I'll probably just leave it alone then if it's such a hassle :/ At least I don't have to look at it all the time ><;

Those labels are the worst of them all, by far.  Especially on the N64 carts  >:(

was unable to locate bestine anywhere locally.

However did purchase an item from local Aldi today;  called "Sticky Stuff Remover". costs £2.49
http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/special_buys3_28599.htm

I have only used it on normal game cases with sleeves and it work great.
especially for removing the stickers, you used to get from comet with the metal strips that left a grid on the case.

Good to know!  Maybe I'll add that item to the FAQ for "out of town" folks ;)
