I went to the AVGN live event last night in Phoenixville PA

It was fun, the trailer screening was a blast to see with like minded fans of his work.  Pre autographed programs were handed out at the door, which was nice foresight in the event he could not get to everybody at the end.The Q&A was weird in my opinion.  The Questions people pull out of nowhere are just mind boggling. His fan base truly is a collection of characters themselves.
We got some behind the scenes extras in an on screen slide show format, which helped highlight the scope of his project.

I Brought with me Bugs Buny Birthday Blowout and Friday the 13th to get signed.

I got kyle, Mike, and James to sign Bugs and just James on Friday.

I have to say James and Mike were very gracious and gave everybody a chance for a question or two and a picture.

I picked all these up yesterday while my Girlfriend and I were on a date.

My fiancee would absolutely kill me if I was ever able to truthfully utter these words.  She is not a fan of my video game collecting/playing.

Call off the wedding maybe? So long as Its when my kids off to bed my wife encourages me to play my games and says nothing about my collecting. As long as bills are paid she seems fine with it.

If someone is trying to change you she obviously isn't right for you it has taken me a while to finally find a girl who understands my hobby.

Today's package from jjgames should net me about $620 in trade credit or $310 in cash only cost me $125 for the 64 games and $127.58 for the snes games.

N64 guy, that crazy, they will let you trade in that many copies of the same game?

Anyways, craigslist find today, 40$ for everything, all complete in fantastic shape. Only one I didnt have/wanted was Xcom and I would have paid 40 just for it. Also came with a steering wheel in box, fishing controller and arcade stick

I've got over  100 more n64 games coming so I'm gonna trade them all in at once. One of the managers actually told me bring as many games as you can since Christmas is right around the corner.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star is awesome. Wii-U is coming out this Sunday, but won't be playing it until December for various reasons.

In terms of relationships, no, you should change yourself if this is the only issue.  Relationships and other human beings are more important then your video game collection or any hobby, period.  I say this, if video games get between you and your potential wife then you should really give up the games.
Self denial is key to a good relationship.

Fuck they are.
I'm single and happy, world is too populated anyway.

And besides like one of my patients said (92 year old woman):
Remember boy, if you want milk you don't need to get a cow.

;D

EDIT:

If we are going to continue this any further we should make new topic for this.

You are wrong you should never have to change yourself for someone if she doesnt love you for who you are there is no reason to be with her. I will argue my point untill we are both red in the face.

Geez what a steal D: I never find good deals like that... (I guess it doesn't help that I don't have a car though .__.)
