The game is pricey enough as it is, now try and find the fricking manual.  There was a BiN for cart and manual for $650

:o Whoa.....must be a REALLY great game to go ahead and spend that much for it.

It actually kinda sucks - at least the 5 mins I spent playing it.

I'm trying to get a full official US NES set (minus Stadium Events) so that's why I bought it.

My rule for buying expensive games that I won't play is that the cash has to come from profits I make from buying and selling games.  All of my purchases from the last 6 months or so have been done this way.

I got very lucky and bought a collection of games off a guy, kept a few items but resold the rest and made about $1,200 so I've been picking up a few games I thought I'd never be able to afford.

It's a hobby and I've got it to a point where it's self supporting so I don't spend anything out of my actual paycheck to acquire these older games.  I have a separate budget for newer gen stuff that I also keep in check. Trust me the GF would kill me if I spent $$ on Flintstones instead of paying the mortgage  ;D

If I ever need money badly in the future I'll be able to sell alot of the rarer, expensive games for more than what I paid.

Yeah, you'd think, wouldn't you? ;D

It's actually not a bad game.  I like the fact that you get to switch between Fred and Barney (although they both share a life bar) and that they each have different platforming and attacking abilities.  The platforming elements aren't nearly as clunky as The Jetsons (although I did like the Jetsons cameo in Rescue of Dino and Hoppy) and it's a fairly easy game at least up until the last level.  It's no Panic Restaurant or Little Samson (or either of the Power Blades which are both sexy games) but it's a decent title.

Not worth the price of admission, though, but let's be honest - no game is worth that kind of coin on gameplay alone, although there are many who have spent far more on MMOs for sub fees and premium services/items/etc.  That kind of price is strictly a collector's buy price.

I'd love to do that but I almost never resell things or pick up lots and flip them.  Nearly everything I buy is solely for the collection, so it's all pretty much out-of-pocket (which makes me one of those 'suckers' you hear about buying overpriced crap ;D ).  The exception being the boxes I'm getting in to make covers out of, which I will resell once I'm done making the covers.  Otherwise, I buy 'em to keep 'em.  But if you have the patience and knowledge there is definitely money to be made doing what you do, so good on you for that!

Arseen:

I am crazy and I have Scandic Stadium Events manual (ENG/FIN/SWE/DAN) and somewhat low qualitu PDF of US SE manual.

I also have Flintstones 2 manual... just not in English... but I can scan it and give it a translation... if someone wants
