Without knowing exactly which two you have, it's hard to tell if one or the other performs noticeably better or not.  The one you just grabbed, the eject button has a painted "eject" or molded in the plastic?

The oldest systems (with the separate sound board) have the poorest composite output and the ones that can be component modded don't give a huge advantage over an S-vid restored model 2 (SNS-101/SNES mini).  The good news is that it's pretty much guaranteed that it'll work with the Game Genie ;D
Eject Is painted on. The one I had before is molded and does not have the separate sound chip..
I may trade it to my local shop if I can't get it to work. I have not tried it with RF but It won't output any video with the Comp cables,

I think I need to go into rehab.... I just spent 400$ on a video game ....

Little Samson

Especially considering how many times I passed this up when I thought 150$ for it was expensive

I also got Panic Restaurant, but least that was sub 100, happy about that

On the bright side, 1 more nes game to go (not complete set but what I am after) - Zombie Nation

add this with my black friday spending and the TONS of new release collectors editions etc I bought in OCT/NOV
 /fml

$400 is actually cheap for Samson now.

How did you get Panic Restaurant so cheap?  That's another one I'm after.

I found it while browsing at 4 am in the morning auction had only been up a few hours. It was listed just under video games not the actual game category The seller had it listed as 189$ buy it now, I offered them 80$ (figured it would either decline or at least be a starting point to work towards a happy medium). He countered with 90$ so I jumped all over it

Nice, dude! Congrats. That's a fair price, and if you consider what the seller was originally asking, a pretty good deal.

Panic Restaurant remains my best find ever ($10!), but I continue to look for the holy grail that is Little Samson. Pricey or not, I am jealous!

Damn, is that what a loose copy is selling for now? Thats why Im always glad I decided to pick off most of the really rare NES titles early on. I picked up games like Little Samson, Bubble Bobble 2 and Power Blade 2 when they were only around $100 each, which honestly doesnt feel THAT long ago. Then of course which was probably my best find yet was a CIB copy of Panic Restaurant I picked up for $5 at a pawn shop a few years back!

Yeah, I was an idiot and when I started collecting like 7 years ago I would moan that 20$ was expensive for a game, it seemed I grabbed the pricey titles later on. I want to kick myself for not grabbing some of these games then when they were like 40-100$ lol.

I got lucky with most of my rare NES titles as they came in that HUGE lot I got off craigslist

That said, I am down to just a handful of games period for each system

What games are left to find, madrocsz? I would like to know. And if you are nearing the end of a collection (complete library or not), I would like to be kept up to date!

You getting audio?  The video encoder might just be toast if so. It's possible that the multi-out connector is dirty, but it's pretty tough to clean. May be easier to just lookup the pinout and solder an RCA cable directly to the connector from behind and make sure that way.

Wiggy, what is that red game on the top?  nvm, Polaris SnoCross =P

my store near me has a BOX of SNES and N64 games on the floor (just sitting there), overflowing with $1/$2.50 games that NO ONE wants.  maybe i could ask for a deal and buy them all =P, but for me... that would be a waste =X
